Looking for some insight or guidance with CBB tonight. Thoughts?

  • eforsty

Might be the lowest scoring night of the year, especially from the upper salary guys.

  • cdestela

Good lord I think I have filled up more H2H’s tonight than the rest of the year combined…

This is my first season in DFS CBB does the volumne generall stay high as we head into March?

  • TooBigYo20

I wish a DK rep could explain to us how Frazier magically disappeared today when it has rarely happened or happened at all all year, but just ironic all the NBA guys show up to play CBB today?

    Anything?
Yup Crickets..except the middle finger to CBB grinders

Have by far the worst day of the season on the night I enter the most contests because of the guarantees… wheee

  • TooBigYo20

Oh Mathews. I knew the tweet would have worked. Why must you do this to me. I had you all day til 645 when I had the extra money to get Bird.

Or why Cosby was in the pool if Frazier wasn’t. This sort of contest manipulation is what may derail the industry as it’s a clear effort to level the playing field, minimize edge and ultimately make it more chance than skill

    Roscoe Allen? Not playing?

  • TooBigYo20

Oh Mathews. Why didn’t I stick with you. You were bound to break out again.

  • theoddsmaker

Oh great last game is in OT and a team down by 10. It’s going to take 40 minutes before that game ends now and I have 0 exposure to it. Time to watch all my expected $ winnings evaporate now!

    Mustve been some point adjustments,

Seriously, its been jumping all over, but it looks like it settled in a non-tie in my favor (sucks for the other dude, but I think it could be a conspiracy to let the higher volume player qualify – j/k?). Also, I usually play only a single CBB lineup each night as I find it works equally well for cash/gpp and I think this tourney was the first multi entry CBB (with different lineups, sometimes I run lineup trains if there is overlay) for me this year. There’s just so much +ev in each of these qualifier entries. In the other sports, I do well in cash games, but fail miserably whenever I try to multi-enter gpps/qualifiers, so these feel good. Antidotally, I lost track of the qualifiers while they were happening because I knew I had a good day on DK (cash) and was focused on pulling for my FD lineup (I’m just transitioning to FD) and was pumped that I finished in the top 250 in the super bank shot for $8 (It’s so hard grinding one site and then coming to grips that you’re not so good at the other and need to figure it out before investing serious time/money).

  • TooBigYo20

Nice job tonight deez. You are a top CBB player for sure . Pretty sick a stat correction wins it for ya

  • deez1233

Thanks. I’m still not sure which player got adjusted, looks to have been a phantom rebound.

Had Etou in some lineups, but the more I looked at him the more I thought he’d be a trap so switched him out last minute, if he continues at this pace I’ll be regretting that decision.

Same here. Had Etou early. Then switched to Woodbury, Loveridge, and Knowles on various lineups. I liked everything else and just couldn’t decide what forward I wanted between 5500-5700. None of them were great but I think Etou turned out the best. Should of stuck with my original gut instinct.

Certainly picked a great night to multi-enter. With all your Q entries, did you just try to cover all of the “studs” last night and pair up accordingly or pick your top few players and do as many combos of them as you could? I know aside from winning yours, you had a number of teams finish top 10 and top 15 in them

Doubt he cares as CBB probably makes up well less than 1% of his (or is it their?) total play. But it’s nice to win when someone picks up a bunch of your games. Sox22 used to take all my games a couple years ago. He hasn’t done it the few times I’ve posted H2H over the last year or two. Although 3 years ago if he wanted any volume, he had to take everyones games.
