Thoughts? Jags got eaten up by TE last week?

  • marker0357

    same this week

  • Getty33

Jags will be without starting center Brandon Linder. Major gut punch to the offense. Also the kicker Lambo is on IR and some guy from Georgia State will do the honors.

5 TDs scored last week in the 3 main showdowns by punts under $800

Any Dolphins fans here? Curious as to how they will defend Jags without Byron Jones and after getting tagged by Diggs and company on a short week? Maybe soft bend dont break coverage….

I don’t see any under $800 plays today but I do like James O’ Shaugnessy at 1.6k. He had good chemistry with Minshew last year and I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds his way into the end zone.

Made my lineups already. Game script should be easy to project and piece together a good lineup on either flow. Expecting a lot of ties for first. Putting in some lineups on DK’s winner take all contests.

Kind of irrelevant here though, no? Loses a little meaning when 3 of those 5 were from the same team. Who was the 5th?

    Swain, Richard, Jones, Ingold…??

I suppose irrelevant is the wrong word. It more shines the light on the fact that the primary players aren’t the only ones who get TD’s and we need to plan for that in building line ups.

The equivalent of those guys tonight are basically –

    RB2’s:

    Chris Thompson 2.6K
    Jordan Howard 4.8K

    WR 4’s:

    Jakeem Grant 1.4K
    Chris Conley 2.2K

I think the major outlier plays on this slate that no one will play that could fit this concept are :

Ben Ellefson, who is basically TE3 for the Jags and $200, and hasn’t had a target, but has played 30 offensive snaps in the 2 games.
Adam Shaheen, who is TE3 for the Dolphins, but even he is $1,200, but at least seen a couple targets and has played on 29 snaps.

Smythe at $400 gets more snaps than Shaheen, but is really strictly a blocking TE, but I guess anything can happen, right?

Chark or Shenault, or Robinson FD MVP?

I think Minshew for FD if your going with the Jags.

He spreads the ball around a lot and no receiver really becomes necessary in the MVP slot. If you think they Jags win big here, you may want to play Robinson but their starting C is out and it’s possible he doesn’t have a great game with his 16 carries.

    Chark OUT

  • monarch

Conley is going to be chalk. I was already on him. Hate it when that happens.

  • JCappy

Similar to last Thursday, this lineup came together very smoothly.

I’m sure it will be popular though.

will collin johnson get a big bump? thinking of going to him instead

  • AdamBski

So my dumbass made a few prop bets for Chark and shortly after he gets ruled out. Any way FanDuel can cancel those bets or am I screwed??

I don’t think they can keep the money if the guy doesn’t suit up. It should be in the bet conditions somewhere that says they must dress for the game.

It’s tough only because both teams spread the offensive wealth around so much. Lots of viable options rather than any cut and dry chalk plays. Other than rostering both QBs, everything else is wide open for roster construction.

No. His bad route last week resulted in an interception. Coaches don’t take kindly to those errors. Conley has been very quiet so far, but Minshew has thrown more TDs to him than anybody but Chark since last year.

  • SteeloCity

I think you pretty much have to build around Gisecki and both QB’s right?

  • andrew34232

    Is Dede gonna play tonight???

I think so. I can’t see Chark being out a big bump for anybody. Conley probably comes in and takes his snaps, Dede might play and then they could also run more 2 TE sets with Eifert and O’Shaughnessy.

Obviously getting Conley at 2.2k is a steal but if he just has a mediocre game and gets like 4 catches for 40 yards, I could see him getting beat by any of the other options in that price range.

That was an interesting way to phrase a question.

I will say no. This is a single game showdown. Like ten different guys you did not mention could make themselves mandatory before the 1Q is over.

Both QBs probably around 75 percent so if you are 150 max then going 100 percent both QBs is a good approach if you are convinced they are both optimal. I would lean towards them being so as opposed to them not being so.

Gesicki is fine. I wouldnt consider him more necessary than Devante Parker or Preston Williams.

Yeah, I THINK Chark being out solidifies Cole and Shenault more than makes Conley a must play. I’ll have shares of Conley, and I’d PROBABLY chicken out and put him in if just making 1 line up, but if I was doing 2 or 3, I could see using him in only one. Conley to me is a great play if you think Jags will be trailing most the game. We’ve seen both sides with the Jags. One lead to Minshew only throwing 20 times, and one him throwing 45 times.
