All eyes on a couple spots that have been trouble all year long, though I don’t expect many impacts:
ATL @ WASH – Some isolated pop-up storms/showers are firing around D.C., and that should continue through the early evening. These storms have very little motion, so they are tough to track, they just pop up, stay mostly stationary (just drifting south) then rain themselves out. I don’t think any of these are capable of causing a PPD, even with a crappy draining outfield like we have here. The bigger question is if we can a delay, and it’s certainly possible, but with low overall coverage, I wouldn’t call it likely. YELLOW.
SF @ COL – Scattered showers and storms makes a late start here look very possible. Models are in fairly good agreement that the rain will eventually clear east this evening, giving us time to get the game in. I can’t say it’s 100% not going to be PPD’d (models can be wrong), but I think the chance of a PPD is very low, and there’s no way I would fade this game if I played DFS. YELLOW / ORANGE… emphasis on the YELLOW.
