Hope Kevin Roth comes out with a weather update soon. I’m getting mixed results from the various websites. Some say rain in the morning and sun in the afternoon, some say rain all day, some say no rain just wind haha.

I am very curious how much of the PGA Tour’s data feed issues are legal (purposely slowing it, not wanting to share, etc), and how much is incompetence. After picking around some data, starting to think it may be the latter. Maybe not pure incompetence, but like “they’re all interns”
(bad data then being a side effect to everyone they communicate with, DFS sites or others like ESPN)

Like “okay Joey, you need to save this file in the folder called ‘data1’ and the year as a subfolder – that way our code will handle it from there”
Joey: saves it in a folder called ‘muffins3’ and a subfolder that is Joey’s age (and the file is actually a recipe for cookies instead of a datasheet of the leaderboard)

Last spot to fill, Jason Kokrak or Ben Martin?

EDIT: Tool is available, just doesn’t have salaries loaded into it yet for this week. Sorry for the misconception.

    Hi,
The PGA Lineup Builder is now live for this weeks tournament.

Would be very surprised if Kisner didn’t hit value here. Everything points to him doing well.

Bold statement as he basically has to Top 5

He is a bit of an enigma to me, statistically he looks good but has underperformed most/all of the year. He does obviously have good history here and ties to the area so will find his place on a few lineups – I just don’t get that warm fuzzy feeling about clicking him.

    Kelly more than Streb

Streb has been awful and unreliable for at least the past 6 months while Kelly has been making cuts – also Kelly fits Harbour Town better

  • BIF

Staying away from Bombers for the most part this week, I have a couple LU’s with Day just in case he goes off but I don’t like the course fit for him here at all.

I find myself putting in a fair number of veterans into my lineups where I need guys under 6800 versus younger guys or first timers.

While I do typically try to find “horse for a course” or “horse for similar type of course” guys – I find myself also looking for a “horse for a course designer” as Pete Dye course are a bit unique and many guys love ‘em or hate ‘em.

LOL Something else for you guys to think about with lots of time to do research!

    good point.

7200 left for me, do i risk it on Bohn coming back from his heart attack or take a safer route? who’s safest route to make cut at that price iyo?

    Blog is up!

Not sure what happened with you guys this week but this is pure junk and your spreadsheet is filled with data errors regarding past history (in particular 2015 results) – the most disappointing part is that it seems your write ups (blog) used your bad data from the spreadsheet and does not display any PGA Tour knowledge.

Everyone who watches golf regularly knows that Furyk beat Kisner last year in a 2-person playoff – somehow your spreadsheet says Fitzpatrick finished 2nd (he did not play here last year) – I can accept the data load error as that stuff happens but then to write about how you like him because “of course he finished 2nd here last year Lock and Load” totally discredits any respect you guys would have had here.

Sorry to shit on you guys but if we want to grow DFS golf and get/keep newbies interested, we need our RG Articles/Blogs to be accurate.

  • JimKronlund

Why wouldn’t Dufner be a good fit here?

  • JimKronlund

Bif what about your boy Delaet?

I don’t have many guys between 6800-7200 on my lineups as I mostly have guys near the top and then below 6800.

Good fits for the course in that price range 6700-7200 include Boo, Martin, McGirt , Knost and Summerhays. Also seen a few guys talking about Matt Jones (not me).

I’m scared of Bohn this week for the reason you stated but I expect ownership will be low and I’m guessing he is healthy or wouldn’t be playing – right ?

Who said he wouldn’t be ?

He should be a great fit ball striking wise – my only concern with him is the same would – a usually average to balky putter

  • amanuel777

he’s had a shitty season. I had him a number of times, always disappointed.

Not this week – I’m not seeing it for him – like another Canuck better.

Has not been a good course fit for him in the past, he would be closer to a bomber than a bunter and LOL he has to play with Poulter the 1st 2 days !
