    Cal,

I have been working on my bankroll management, and you guys already download all the data. Was wondering if there was a way for premium members to get some built in bankroll management tool. I have downloaded the one off the FD feature that also has DD and Starstreet. But I use FD, DK, and DS, would like to track all 3, but now using my own spreadsheet, but obviously not as detailed as the one you guys provide?

I would love a Draft Kings BR Management tool as well… I track it myself as is, but its not nearly as detailed as I would like it to be.

What browser extensions do you use?

    Thanks

I just downloaded the Bankroll tool and when I click update all I get a message that it “can’t run the macro”.
I’m an Excel newb. How can I fix this?

  • readparse

Sounds like macros might be disabled. Give this page a try:

Cal, I could use a DraftKings BR Management tool as well.

One of you guys (rotogrinders founders) was on XM Radio and mentioned a spreadsheet that helps keep track of your lineups, which I believe would help me. Is that spreadsheet available for download?

Cal, I was wondering if there is software or a website you can use to track all of your daily fantasy players at one time?

I am creating a spreadsheet to help pick players. I’ve looked over the one in Grinders U and have a few questions. When retrieving Player stats, is that just a copy and paste from the player stats research tool? And if so, do you update that everyday manually (copy and paste) or is their a way to link it through the web to the spreadsheet?

  • Annadad71

Nate, go to the data tab on your excel spreadsheet then click import from web. Every time you log in it will ask if you want to refresh. Click yes and it will auto update daily stats. Hope that helps

Would anyone here be interested in creating a how to video on YouTube regarding the creation of an Excel solver optimizer? There currently isn’t anything posted that teaches this.

  • vonxn

Or if anyone could make a video on how to create an Excel Stat sheet using VLOOKUP that would be awesome. I’m a complete Excel noob and cant wrap my head around making a stat sheet. I know what I want on it but have no idea how to extract the info from the web and quickly add it to the excel sheet.

  • Jshiffy

I have an awesome idea for a tool I just don’t know how to do it. It would be so cool if we could track how contests fill and come up with a formula to project overlay on a given contest.

Hey guys, new to the site and might be in the wrong place but I am having difficulty finding something. I am trying to find a place to download the previous days stats.

For example I am on draft kings. I would like to download what each player scored from the previous day (or week) for football to analyze that days salary vs what they wound up doing point wise?

But from my limited baseball experience so far, I would have to just keep searching through all the teams in the finished lobby to find each player and enter is manually. Even entering it manually would not be the worst for football if I could find them all in the same place.

Here is a link that I used. Very new to excel as well. I took about 6 hours for me to recreate it. It uses vlookup as well solver to get you optimized lineups. I know the same person is working on a much more user friendly version that will do multiple line ups. Most of the 6 hours time was that I am on a mac using the free openoffice software and there a couple settings that where different. But this video is for baseball but worked out great for football. Hope it helps.

That was a great video and I am definitely going to setup something like that. But my main question was after week 1 is over I would like to add the total amount of points scored by each of those 200 players in an easy way. Is there any way to do this downloading scores from draftkings or something like that? It will take a long time to look up 200 player points on the site if I need to jump around to different submitted lineups to find where the one team that selected a particular player is.

    Thanks

EDIT – Found a stats page here on rotogrinders that appears to have all the info I need and you can sort by fantasy site.

  • DCmantommy72

Isnt there a file out there for download that is already set up with stats and projections that can be refreshed off the web?

meaning.. isnt there an already set up dfs spreadsheet available to use somewhere??? …eh hem… for free?

  • jfechko

Cal, the import script for DK and FD are amazing, thanks to RG for creating these. Will there be a release of a bulk edit script?

  • kraz83

A tool that could keep track of how many times a player is used across your lineups. I build about 500 lineups and on Fanduel I can go to quick player replace and here it will tell me how many lineups each player is in. On draft kings they have nothing to give me such info. For example say I make a 100 different lineups for the NFL millionaire maker and I use A.Rodgers in 56 lineups, Tom Brady in 30 and Matt Ryan 14, I would like to know these numbers without manually keeping track. Now when it comes to WRs and RBs it can become complicated and tedious to keep track of all of them manually especially when you are pivoting a decent amount of players.

the Rotogrinders chrome extension for DK isn’t working for me tonight. Specifically the “Edit Lineup Entries” option – no entries appear so you can’t select them for editing.

bump. Is there a solution to this?

  • xatewatr

I have spotted a slight inconsistency with your Bankroll Tracker. Specifically with soccer results. DraftKings at one point labelled soccer contests with SOCC instead of the current SOC in the “Sport” column of the CSV import file.

Your Bankroll Tracker does not seem to take those contests into account.

    Thank you.

  • xatewatr

The issue seems to have been fixed since my last post. Thank you!
