I posted early in this thread (like page 2) that I had wrote down six golfers before pricing came out I liked this week but was worried about how chalky they were. When salaries came out and those six left with $0 on the table I decided to roll with it as my single bullet this week. Covid scares me as anything can still happen but I have…

I see no reason too. Their process appears to be working for identifying cases.

Commisioner Finchem just said yesterday “We need to learn to live with the virus now because it’s not going away.” Bravo and Amen to that!

Scottie starts off -2 and then of course has to find the water. Ugh!

My Man Bud Cauley! Stay healthy my man, although this crushes 50% of my entries, I want to see you back in 2 weeks.

I agree, having the McCarthy group WD today is part of the risk they take, ask any golfer on tour and I guarantee you they will agree to this rather than no golf at all…I don’t see it being an issue with the players on tour, and this makes the PGA look responsible. I think nothing to see here, just new rules in play.

Let’s say for the sake of argument Tim Wilkinson tested positive. Xander would have to WD, right?

Spoken like a person willing for a few family members of players on his Tour to die of Covid so he can continue to get paid.

I just saw something saying Wallace is staying in so I don’t think it’s required that playing partners withdraw.

I think unless it comes down to Sunday and a final grouping where 2 guys have been together already, then possibly they’d find a way to finish, but I mean these hypotheticals are exactly what happened to Hideki at the players, it sucks but it’s the risk they take and agree to before the tournament starts

Some McCarthy on my teams, and a whole lot of Cauley. Yuck. Gambling at its finest.

If Wilkinson tested positive and X tested negative, I’d imagine they would strongly encourage him to WD to try and save future tournaments. But I don’t think they’d have security remove him from the course if he refused

Agreed. Gonna be dealing with this for several more years at min. This is the new reality everyone needs to start realizing. This is our new normal

I know I’m just being selfish because I have him in a potentially very good lineup, but I don’t see the point of withdrawing now after you played with him all day yesterday. Either you have it already or you don’t. But I get it, everyone has to do what they’re comfortable with!

I’m sure his playing partners might have a different opinion about being potentially exposed to a deadly disease with no cure

Yes. It was always the case… shutdowns/lockdowns, masks, distancing, were never a “cure” were measures to avoid ICUs to be overwhelmed and be able to save more lives… it cannot be wished away, vaccines take time to be found and take time to be mass produced and distributed… if people stop being stupid and follows simple hygiene habits and respect others we can live with it.

I mean, really???? You make it sound like the Black Plague. THIS is a huge part of the problem right here.

On the other hand, Denny will have a certain antibody factor when he is able to play again. Gotta take that into consideration.

Has 5/6 ever won it? I have a ton of W Gordon. Need cutoff to be -4 for 6/6.

How did you find yourself to play a lot of Gordon? honestly, never heard of him and I play almost every golf slate, even the outlaw tour !
