Normally I would have led with some sort of official logo… but leading with the Dagger is so much better.

In the RG Golf Forum the Happy Meal and PIG are set up already.

  • nicholasmarsh

Who is the top play regardless of price? Joost is favored then Nacho, Van Rooyen, Smith, Sullivan & Dubuisson all have same odds to win according to the tournament sheet.

I popped in a few guys that I liked based on RF/CH then I had $11,900 for my last golfer. I think I did something wrong… Ha!

  • dangasin

I want to make a team of team nike players. Seems nike knows who to sponsor.

  • lfn1992

PIG incidentally, I forgot to put the rules on there. You need to use $49,500 salary on your team.

  • timusbr

On last weeks thread someone asked what about PGA achievement points.
If there is no DFS for the pairs event then the achievements are not a factor this week. This is MHO. but no euro event so far has been included. I will play some contests so I am covered if I am wrong but I believe Euro does not count. Contact DK if this is an issue for you.

  • hbomb57

Since I do not know WTF I am doing when it comes to Euro I played my Pig LU as my Happy Meal or my Happy Meal the same as my Pig LU.

  • mitchsnyderdfw

Damn, what happened to the days when Dubuisson was mid-$7K? Guess I need to play more Euro to keep up with this stuff.

  • Kp24

Renato Patatore is a young gun I’ve followed for a while and am eager to see what he can do here this year. Has pretty good course history and I think at a long track like this, you’re gonna need the guys who can really get it out there.

The Euro Tour site is kinda slack on stats but you can do some digging on Driving distance and such

  • timusbr

I am playing a fun 20 LU spread with 1 that I will play Gpp’s and cash.

“Fun” 20 LU’s. I stopped collecting data and should delete everything euro. I wanted to make a global database (LOL dreams or ideas, somethings are just not worth the effort). So I played played the guy that I think is the surest top 5. I really dont know if he has won in a long time or how many tour wins he has. This isnt the strongest field and it is the full 156 golfers. Gambling at its finest. I also took the guy that MC last year that I was 100% on….You cant F me 2 years in a row. The third guy is +9k and he is my upset special. The forth guy is my go to player at the end of the last season. The DK extra space screws with my sort every F’n time. The fifth guy is who I cant believe in a field like this he is below 7K. LOL took me about 30 minutes to pick my LU’s based on very sound reasoning above.

So far a nice “core” of Hebert, Waring, and Shinkwin. Playing with fire and going the CH and RF route again. Add in a few top dollar guys (Juice, Nacho, Sullivan, and maybe Campillo) and you’re good to go. My Fin doesn’t look strong here so I’ll pass on him. Should be a fun tournament at least!

I only need $450 to hit Diamond on DK this month, so I will probably play the Happy Meal and the PIG and then like 11 of the $44 and be done with it.
Seems like the Diamond level is only cash and no tickets – curious if that reliably works out to more or not – feel like if good, the tickets could work out to more (although certainly not saying I’m there).

I’m still trying to think of where to spend my .10 tickets, so Diamond level is way better IMO

Turned my .10 ticket last week into my Duel for the Dagger entry via a satty, never actually won anything else off of them.

Definitely do it – Diamond is where it’s at.

Check your Missions – you may be able to knock off some of that $450 with those. My mission last night/today was a $25+ contest for 450 FPPs

Diamond is great as this month it was one day $10 and a couple $5 days plus a smattering of $1-3 days

Anyone who follows Euro regularly know what’s up with Otaegui? I used to remember he was pretty consistent for the most part last year. Recently with a 10th place which is his best performance in a while. He hasn’t missed a cut here so I am interested in putting him in 1 of my 2 lineups.. Good play or nay? In this lineup it’s between him or Schwab.

  • Jeddy3

Just drafted my team with almost all players who average 69. I’m thinking this is the proper method for EURO.

But if they’re each 70 then you total 420.

Going to do my best BIF impression and give an overview of what I know of the Trophee Hassan II. I am no golf expert like BIF but I’ve played this DK contest the last two years and know what this course is.

This course might be the hardest on the EURO Tour, for starters. Most EURO courses are birdie fests but this is one where BOG and DBB lurk around every corner.

In the past the rough on this course has been one of the most penal on the EURO tour, combined with narrow fairways and tough putting greens. It’s an all-around challenge that is more like an upper-tier PGA event than a typical EURO contests.

So you need overall accurate ball-strikers but you also need really good SG:Approach guys. Also, strangely, French and Spanish players have routinely done well here even when their stats sometimes say otherwise.

Adding to the intrigue is that this is the first event after a long time off in between the Masters and the resumption of the EURO tour. How much do you weigh recent form?

I think he was thinking of making the jump to the PGA and had signed up for some events there. He was in the WGC-Mexico event. He’s a similar golfer in my mind to Schwab, a really good ball-striker. A bit inconsistent, though. He’s clearly on the second tier of Spanish golfers, with Sergio and Rahm clearly on the first tier. Campillo and Otaegui are the guys that are trying to get there.

  • lfn1992

FYI – there’s a Lineup Builder this week for EURO!

👍 I rarely ever use the RG lineup builder but I did last week and it paid off well (though I did tinker off a couple LUs it gave me that I didn’t like).

EVR… what do do with you

Sergio and Rahm are in the first tier of all professional golfers. Campillo and otaegui will never come close.

Got to get to the PGA Tour first. Some said the same of Sergio before he won the Masters.

Campillo and Otaegui are like Shane Lowry, guys who are hovering around that Top 50 golfers in the world ranking. Otaegui has a shot. Campillo I’m less optimistic. Both have to up their game if they want to get there.
