I would benefit from him doing well, so he will WD/RET any second now, sorry about that.

So, when I leave work early today because I can’t take it anymore, is that retiring or withdrawing?

  • BrianVT

I’m one of those idiots who has a cash lineup in 1st in the $25 double-up, but don’t have that same lineup in anything else.

the same thing on PGA Tour would all be WDs, but here on EURO they score them differently.

all squared, retired, take the tube…..Euros are always trying to be unique, You think the game was invented over there.

Tappio just let me down and I’m not sure Dunne (I blame you Tim!) or Bez will make the cut. Just givig you a hard time Tim as I would have played him anyway. Always liked him since I saw him playing as an am in the Masters.

Hey Hey Dunne is a cutmaker. I am always ready to take the blame. Being married teaches you not to get worked up about things being my fault. I am not sure if I want to take any credit for a +2, so lets see what Sunday brings. :)

The Zurich RD 1 is a scoring fest. I am getting real interested about some of these teams playing 4-man. Can Brroks sustain carrying his brother?

I spent a bunch of bucks on the death train, he carried Finau thru the back 9 and then Finau carried KSDT thru the front 9. This thread would have been +20 pages talking about birdies and streaks if we DFS’d the Zurich.

So I think I have to resort to rooting for: Pavan staying above water, Otaegui going -3 over his last 8 holes and a -4 cut line to have Waring sneak inside the cut line. After yesterday, where I had 15/16 players above or 1 away from the cut line, it has come to this. Unbelievable.

+4 T73…. it is trending heavily towards a +4 cut line, Paul Waring fans

    I had to re-enter my favorites into eurotour.com AGAIN. 20 players in 20 LU’s.
Right now I should be optimistic. 3 players out with a total impact of 3/120. 2 more on the bubble right now with 10/120 impact. Barring any meltdowns at least 50% 6/6, I still have some hope.

    cutsweat was looking at about 5% 6/6 @ +3

  • lfn1992

Paul Waring is going to make this cut. T68 +4

  • timusbr

I dont know if to laugh or cry as the cut line is about to move and some of my golfers are falling to make it happen. Thanks Lasse and Victor

I know you were wondering, Renato Paratore fans… +5 is at T79

Does Euro use similar MDF rules to PGA?

The European Tour’s third-round cut rule is very similar in nature to that of the PGA Tour. If 78 or more players make the 36-hole or second-round cut in a tournament, then there will be a secondary cut after the third round. On the PGA Tour, that cut is made to the number “nearest 70 as possible,” while on the European Tour, that number will be the top 72 professionals and any players tied for 72nd place after three rounds.

Thanks, kinda interesting they cut more to begin with but will keep more through a MDF situation.
