Otaegui gets a bogey to ensure he needs to -2 or better on the last 2 holes to make the cut, of course

  • lfn1992

+5 is at T73… am I really going to have to resort to rooting for that?

  • lfn1992

Otaegui birdies the driveable Par 4… Par 5 18 coming up.. he’s at +5

If I can get Joachim B Hansen through in this afternoon wave (shot +2 yesterday) and avoid disaster coming in from my guys in AM wave, I may have a very good 6/6 that I threw in everything – the $44 and $10 plus two entries satty’s for $555 tickets and 5 entries in Milly Maker satty’s.

    Mission Completed
    1 LU with a 6/6 in the books 👍

My other 19 lineups look like 2 with 5/6 and pile of 3/6’s

I believe I have won the Dagger.

I have $600ish in play on the Euro and yesterday my total was ~$1700 at close of day.
As today is drawing to the close, looks very much like a $0 for me.

As far as I can tell it was too much exposure to Wood and Otaegui for me – guess I will look again on Sunday and see if anything made it through.

    OTAEGUI

  • hautalak

Well this just got interesting. How much will +4 help me? It gets me a 6/6 but that has to be pretty high with Waring making it now.

  • lfn1992

I mean, holy shit, Otaegui went BIR-BIR-BOG-BIR-BIR to make the cut AS IT WAS FALLING TO +4

    That is unbelievable

  • lfn1992

+5 is absolutely not out of the realm of possibility, by the way

  • lfn1992

With the cut line going lower, Scrivener’s dump and Dodt’s WD is becoming ever more tilting than ever

No chance for the +5’s they might get to 67th but not enough guys on course at the right scores – like Otageui there are others who can make late birds on 17-18 to screw over the 4-overs but probably enough bogies out there to keep them safe

Wrong direction, Dredge – come on, man

  • lfn1992

Dredge will have to pull an Otaegui to make the cut, can he do it?

If he does it will bump up the 5/6 and 6/6 immensely

It would take a true meltdown or two by guys at E, but the way this course is playing it isn’t out of the question.

Agree though it will probably settle at +4

Has anyone ever seen Bradley Dredge and the actor that played Toby in The Office at the same place at the same time?

    I’m emotionally exhausted, lol

How is EVR gonna bogey on the easiest hole. Come on man! Lol.

  • BrianVT

Wow, what a great finish, Dredge. Way to go.

Anyone on the ground in Morocco that can confirm my homeboy Tom Murray (he was cheap) really made a 7 on par 5 easiest hole #8 when others made 2s and 3s? Thanks in advance. His Odyssey putter must be one of the recalls that’s not the #1 in golf.

Homeboy Tom climbed 94 spots on the leaderboard today!!! aka tied for round of the day – worth a 1/4 dagger and a used Odyssey putter cover

I just KNEW when I was passing out Wednesday night that he was a great fit for the Moroccan winds.

6/6 line at about 9%, which means 6/6 and 5/6 are likely to be the ones that cash, unless you have someone like Dimi Papadatos on your 4/6 and he wins

I’m having a hard time seeing any path for me to get a big score this weekend, very disappointing. My one 6/6 is:

    Joost/Dubuisson/Pavan/Otaegui/Chesters/Samooja

I suppose my path to a big score is Chesters and Samooja T10 and a whole lot of carnage elsewhere

  • timusbr

Holy shit I thought today would be harder in New Orleans but +5 thru 2 holes for Oosty/Schwarzel is just a bit much. I cant tell how it happened because there is no description.

  • paulrobert1989

Only played one lineup this week. Switched out lipsky and Suri at the last second for bjork and Tom Lewis. Still have a 6/6 but kicking myself right now.

  • noddy

my single bullet is actually 6/6…I have 2 golfers at +3 and one at +4. Do I even bother following along?

No need to follow along. I got a 6/6 in the thunderdome, but only 3 golfers in the top 10 and I’ve certainly given up.
