Larryzabal just blew an easy birdie putt… God he his so inconsistent, he has that Rahm/Sergio hot-headedness but not the supreme talent to overcome it

  • byo34

If Waring can finish today at E after his +3 back nine, I will be very pleased.

  • lfn1992

My only real turd is Richie Ramsay at +5… unfortunately he’s on 1 of my 2 “Duel” LUs

He was my late pivot away from Samooja on certain LUs… should have just went heavy on Cali

  • lfn1992

The 17th hole here is a 267 yard Par 4 that is very birdie-able incidentally

Juiced Lootens has a nice profile pic

Schwab decided he really wanted to get to -2, b2b birds

    Unless your name is Nacho

  • philthefox

Dunne dun well needs a bird before he done

  • lfn1992

Am I going back to Kalle?

  • lfn1992

Dubuisson ends at +2. Not unhappy about +2 because it’s pretty close to the +1 cut line

    Schwab!

How on earth did 17.33% of cash players end up on Bradley Dredge? At no time did I even entertain the thought of rostering him.

I think it had something to do with his vegas odds to DK price ratio.

I play Dredge a lot in EURO. He’s usually cheaper than the other cut making options and he’s had a solid string of made cuts already this year. Had a bad day but he’s fully capable of shooting -4 and getting it back tomorrow…or at least that’s what I’m telling myself…

  • lfn1992

I don’t mind Dredge in GPPs because he’s pretty solid overall, it’s the cash part that has me scratching my head. I feel the way about Dubuisson. Awesome GPP play (in fact he’s in 1 of my 2 $10 entries in DftD), but way too inconsistent to be a good cash play.

If I were playing cash I’d have probably started with Campillo/Scrivener or Joost/Scrivener (which to be fair many did) and then filled in with mid-range guys. I’m just not sure I would have ended up on Dredge. I thought Chesters in every conceivable way was a better play.

Jaidee finally broke his 15 par streak…with a bog…at least Nacho ended with a bird

Very true, I’m GPP only so I’m always looking for those low priced guys that consistently get in the top 30-40. Dredge has fit that bill all year thus far.

Wasn’t expecting the Nacho crap out on day 1 but he can also shoot low so here’s to hoping.

Suri birdies his last hole to end at -2

  • lfn1992

If Ramsay can go bird-bird on 17 and 18 (doable) I like where I’m sitting going into tomorrow where +2 is still a makeable cut

  • hautalak

Of course it’s the Fin I didn’t play with the best score. Mikko looked like he struggled here in years past so I went the cheaper options and it was no the right move so far. I still can’t get over how bunched up this leaderboard is!

  • philthefox

    Thanks Lipsky sweet finish

  • lfn1992

89 year old Jack Senior, 0.01% owned in GPP and 0.02% owned in cash, is at T7 and -3, amazing

  • philthefox

We called Jack Jr who is rock fishing in Tahiti and he just now tweeted, “Bout time, Dad”
