For a month I have tried explaining, and my wife has tried explaining that as a joke she wrote an email to DK and FD from my email asking to close my account. This is my last email that I wrote them.

Neither of them will open my account. I don’t gamble, I don’t go to the casino, I don’t play lottery, I don’t bet on games, all I do is fantasy for my sports entertainment. Please someone help me!

    To whom it concerns:

This is a harsh penalty. I understand it was my responsibility to maintain control of my life in credentials.

My wife feels incredibly bad for what has transpired since her sending that email asking to close my account.

I can send you my Drivers License, Social Security Card in an email proving that this is who I am.

I have no where to go on this issue except begging. So here I am, pleading with you to reestablish my account. Draftkings is a great site and I am an ambassador of the brand.

It is nearing football season and as my season long leagues start to open, I would like to participate in online competitions on Draftkings.

I can draw up a letter and have it notarized saying that I did not send that email to you asking for my account to be banished.

Please, from one human to another, forgive my wife for her transgression against me in what turned out to be poor comedy, and forgive me of allowing my wife to know my passwords.

I am begging, pleading, asking you to open my account.

I believe in responsible gaming and practice it. I do not have a gambling problem. In fact, I do not gamble. I do not go to casinos, bet on games. My one source of sports entertainment is fantasy competition. Please open my account and allow me to play on the world’s number 1 fantasy site.

    I’m begging you.

    Sincerely,

RG can you please help me!

Can you paste the e-mail that your wife sent them? Maybe we can find something in that e-mail that can help… other than that… have you seen Face/Off?

First, please let us know how your divorce is proceeding. Not sure what is worse – your wife’s sense of humor or your predicament.

Was it “poor comedy” or did she recognize that maybe you might have a gambling problem and decided to stop it before it got too bad?

I am a cynic by nature, but I call total BS on this. How on earth could anyone think that is funny?

I think it far more likely you have an issue and she did this to put a stop to it, and you are either on the outs or already done and you want your account reinstated.

Regardless, I think you are screwed. Once an email comes from someones verified account they aren’t letting you play again, especially in todays climate.

I would say have her open an account and you play on it.

Or it’s likely that in a moment of clarity, the OP emailed DK and FD to asked them to prevent him from continuing to lose money he can’t afford to lose, and is now regretting that decision.

The repeated comment that he does not gamble is concerning. I don’t mean to derail the thread, but we are all gambling here (just not under a legal definition of gambling). DFS is a highly addictive activity, just like any casino gambling, and it is a gambling addiction if one cannot stop oneself from losing money one cannot afford to lose while playing DFS.

OP’s “went sent email as a joke” story is probably the least believable thing I’ve ever heard.

-250 OP sent email himself after losing, while feeling guilty
+125 OP’s wife sent email to stop him
+5000 OP’s wife sent email as a joke

WHATS THE LINE AT ITS JUST TOTAL B/S?

If it was a joke your Wife wouldn’t actually send the email. She would joke about sending the email. Even then why would she joke about it unless there wasn’t some truth to it?

Why don’t you play on another Dfs website.
