Forecast for 6/6, updated at 6:45 pm
One or two risk/reward plays out there, but it looks like in general the reward outweighs the risk…
BOS @ NYY – One cluster of very slow moving showers trying to build towards NY, likely stays west, but some light rain not impossible. YELLOW / GREEN . Winds NE at 10mph, blowing in from left.
PIT @ BAL – Most of the rain stays north, similar to NY where I can’t fully rule out a few showers, but I doubt it. YELLOW / GREEN
LAA @ DET – Winds north at 10-15mph, blowing out to right-center.
PHI @ ATL – Showers over ATL now, those are fading away. The heavier rain for now is well to the south, and the bulk of it will likely stay south. Some rain upstream may try to impact play a bit later in the game, but the overall intensity / coverage over the city should stay fairly low. YELLOW
MIA @ CHC – Winds north at 10-15mph, blowing in from left-center.
CLE @ COL – Upping risk to ORNG/YLW based on latest high-res models. Still think it’s a “lower risk play”, and with the reward in Coors, can’t recommend a fade. Scattered storms, cruising from west to east tonight. NWS has a 50% rain chance, I would go a bit higher. Late start? Early delay? Either way, likely to play (I didn’t mean to make that a poem, but I’ll take it). ORANGE / YELLOW here, decent shot of a delay, low PPD chance. Relatively low risk, high reward.
