Adding MIN to forecast…
STL @ NYM (late game) – Winds NW 10-15mph, blowing out to right.
COL @ BAL – A few showers WELL to the west of BAL. Not expecting them to reach the game, this one is likely to play clean throughout. GREEN / YELLOW
OAK @ TEX – Scattered pop-up storms across North Texas. This is a very similar look to what we saw last night, but you just never know if any of these little storms are going to end up over the stadium. Currently the storms are northeast of Arlington, and are moving VERY slowly. My best guess is that they die down before they ever reach the stadium, but a delay is possible, and, if we get remarkably unlucky, a PPD can’t fully be ruled out. Still, it’s nothing I would fade, and I think the most likely outcome is a clean game. YELLOW / ORANGE for overall uncertainty, not for current threat.
ATL @ MIN – Interesting scenario unfolding near MIN, where a few pop-up storms have fired well west. The National Weather Service has a 0% chance of storms, which is a bit odd because they are usually overly cautious. Looking at high-resolution models, I can’t agree with the 0%. I think storms are possible, especially later inning. I’m a solid YELLOW based on what the HRRR model is forecasting. It is alone in bringing in rain, but it can’t fully be dismissed.
CIN @ SF – Typical WSW wind at 15mph, blowing out.
