Some impressive storms yesterday in the Plains and Midwest are working farther east today, but the timing seems to work out pretty well…

Btw, who’s excited for Vegas?!? This guy!!! I don’t even know how I’m going to get through a full week of work, I feel like a kid before Christmas. Can’t wait to meet the DFS community, you guys have been great to a newbie like myself.

TX @ KC – Overnight storms, they won’t make it in time. GREEN

PHI @ ATL – Pop-up t-storms in the forecast, but they are popping waaay south of ATL. Nothing doing yet, and future radar doesn’t have anything else developing. I’ll keep this as GREEN, with a little mini CYA (cover your ass) yellow mixed in just incase something pops, but I highly doubt it.

BOS @ NYY – That aforementioned storm system is headed this way, but it will be weaker as it does, and I don’t think it will make it in time anyways. IF it manages to arrive, it would be a late inning issue. I think we will be clear without weather interruptions, but I’ll keep a GREEN /hint of YELLOW just in case.

DET @ CLE – There is this one storm upstream that’s just… awkward. It’s super skinny, but strangely long, and moving in the direction of Cleveland. Doesn’t mean it will hold together, doesn’t mean it will definitely move over the stadium, but Mr. Awkward Storm COULD cause a delay if it manages to accomplish those 2 feats. I would bet it doesn’t, but I’ll give a full GREEN / YELLOW in this case.

CIN @ BAL – This is where that potent line of storms is as I write this, basically just moving into BAL. The line of storms is severe, packing some impressive winds and lots of lightning. When storms are strong, they tend to move quicker, and this system should quickly move through BAL. Back behind this system it looks pretty clear, so I think a late start would be the biggest risk. I’ll keep this one as a straight up YELLOW for the late-start potential, but I think the game should play fine.

As always, it’s just a forecast, things can (and will) change.

Hit me up on twitter with any questions, @KevinRothWx, see you guys soon!

Yeah! It will be new to me, so I’m definitely up for ideas/suggestions, but I’m really excited about the potential impact weather could have in DFS football
