If Hendo upsets Bisping in front of his hometown crowd at this point in his career, I don’t know what to think any more! Bisping doesn’t need to get on the inside to strike and Hendo needs you to do that to KO you without crumbling! Is it just me or are too many of these fights WAY TOO close to call?!? I like Mousasi over Vitor, I think?!? Ovince St. Preux over Manuwa, but Manuwa can def get the upset! Alcantara over Pickett… That new muscular black dude Diakese over Sajewski because he looks intimidating lol! Anyone think Perry can take out Roberts?!? What are you guys’ thoughts!

Can’t wait for Perry to be way overowned and get knocked out

But Danny Roberts really doesn’t have KO power though.. I could see him winning, but I don’t neccessarily see the KO..

  • Sclausen

You aren’t kidding Diakese is intimidating. That man is chiseled.

I usually run to get those main events on my roster because if you can pick the winner, they pay off regardless of how they win, but this is way different. I might fade this main event. Hendu is just going to look for the bomb and Bisping will have no part of tangling with him. Smells like a dance around 5 round decision for Mr.Cardio with low output from both

I don’t see how Bisping lands less than 100 sig strikes if it goes to a decision. Hendo is early KO or bust so I won’t be rostering him.

Yeah, he did KO Jim Wallhead though who is a super tough dude with a good chin.

Death , Taxes, Bisping in England……If Bisping loses this fight…..MMA isn’t real lol………one thing is for certain though …find the low owned guy whos lets say a 4 to 1 underdog and roster him a la Spicely or Brandon Moreno….that’s two events in a row… I think this is a good setup fight for Rob Font though against leg specialist Ian Entwistle( a guy who’s never seen a second round) so really it’s he gets the leg lock or gets knocked out so both sides (90% font) though are in play…. Bisping will finish Hendo, Hendo gets hurt in every fight and 10 more seconds longer would not have survived the Hector Lombard fight in the first round …Hendo might survive but no way will he survive for 5 rounds and as was already stated Bisping will pour on the sig. strikes.

sig strikes aint what they used to be

This is a great card with the new scoring rule changes, the prices should be interesting. I have bisping, mousassi, tumenov and bektic as expensive but the rest should be close pickem’s

Sad to see how actual MMA judging has changed for the better in terms of not overvaluing guys who do nothing in top control and doing nothing but DK scoring system has regressed to support such notions. The people want to see action, firefights and knockouts not takedowns and advances.

Keita Nakamura put up an obscene numberof points and lost last week. Case and point. I can’t be alone in this can I? The new scoring doesn’t seem to cater to the casual fan.

The scoring doesn’t overvalue guys who do nothing from top control, if you’re effective and pass a million times then you score a lot. Idk yet if they went too far with it. But it is nice being able to score with guys who win dominantly regardless of what method they use.

I agree with you 100%. We need the pride rules, where scoring takedowns is meaningless if you don’t do anything. Fighters on their backs never get rewarded by the judges even if they are throwing elbows and working submissions. They only receive attention from judges if they lock in a tight submission.

Also, on Draftkings if a fighter KOs his opponent within the first minute let alone few seconds (very rare) might actually hurt you. Especially if there are fighters on that same card who get multiple takedowns, SS on the ground and end the fight in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Agree, there’s a huge difference between being aggressive on the ground while dominating your opponent and just sitting in closed guard throwing shitty elbows. The scoring should reflect that.

Agree, before this you just picked guys who could get an early finish and that’s it. A dominant decision between two good fighters was around 60 points while an early finish would be over 100 this balances it out

It’s not the fighters or judges fault if there is no damage inflicted the refs should stand them up

The scoring was designed to make less ties and to make DFS MMA more challenging but the problem is there were still a ton of ties.

7k main had 6 first place winners.

I think it’s a lot better, it gives the people who do their research a huge edge

Before his last fight I did a ton of research on him and picked him. I think he’s special and has a chance to be a contender. The question mark is on the ground (takedown defense is good) and discipline (he’s still on parole).

Same here on Perry. He has done somethings in his life several times and has had drug charges and Robbery. This Kid is a gifted fighter I do not want to compare Apples to Oranges but he reminds me of a Garbrandt type Striker. The Kid is an arrogant jerk and his corner making racial slurs is not cool at all…

His Gods Gift tattoo:( Sorry Mike you might need to be humbled one day. I understand we all make mistakes I just hope he starts to learn more life lessons.
