The one we’ve all been waiting for.. All 3 champs are locks to ME… Cyborg, Jones and woodley will all win IMO, and Jones and Cyborg are sure for 100+ points… Maybe Jones is the only let own as Cormier has been preparing to fight him for about 2 years.. He should be GAME lol.. Lawler over Cerrone… Manuwa should win but Oezdemir has been wrecking people he has no business wrecking.. I think this could continue.. Carneiro is the better striker, but Ortega always finds a way to win!! Curran over ALbu because Albu hasn’t fought in 2 years and her strength is her grappling.. Very unimpressed with her in her debut! Shelton vs Brooks is a must have fight!! What do you guys think?!?1

  • cordscords

Cyborg a lock for cash, probably foolish to fade or go underweight on in tournaments as well. Just a great spot for a finish inside the first 2 rounds. Styles make fights and I think Woodley profiles really well against Maia. Main event? Let’s see what Jones looks like post USADA suspension. I think people forget how close the first fight was, 48-47 on a lot of media scorecards. If Jones is off the juice, along with the long layoff, I think DC will have more success. I’m not calling for a DC victory, but he’s very much a live dog at $7300 in a fight that I see going all 25 minutes. He’s my salary relief pick.

Great advice guys, on another note damn it I need lineup Builder or MMA and WNBA

  • Junkie62

As much as I like him, Jones not a lock. Cormier great GPP value. Looking forward to this one boys!

Anyone have real data on 1st fight after a year+ off?

“Fighters with a layoff of eight months or less had a boost in winning performances. The effect towards the end of that eight-month window peaked at 54% and was slightly higher than for the shortest layoffs, but all were winning more often than not. The win rate then hugged the baseline rate in the nine to 12-month range of layoffs, until finally tanking for anything more than a year. The numbers say that severe Ring Rust is worse than a case of Octagon Jitters. Beyond a year, sample sizes got pretty small, so I had to lump them together. Still, the effect is pretty clear. Returning to the Octagon after a year-long layoff results in a 35% win rate, illustrating how difficult it is to take time away from the cage. The fighters in this rusty group either had serious injuries requiring long rehabilitations, a suspension, or other issues outside the cage that prevented competition such as movie obligations. Regardless of the reason, there appears to be evidence supporting the theory that athletes need to “stay in fighting shape” in order to remain competitive. Taking a long break from the fight game can result in a brutal wakeup call.”

Just for the record Jones is not the Champ. So to say all 3 champs are a lock and list Jones is an error. This is the best fight card of the year so far. After the huge let down earlier during the international fight week in Vegas. Loaded top to bottom with quality fights. The salary caps will be interesting when posted. Cyborg being an early -1200 fav will send her cap number through the roof. it will be hard to field a quality full roster paying up for her.

Lol @ off the juice. He never was caught with juice in his system. Clovis and not a don’t give u anything. There anti estrogens. Which being said there is no reason to have either in u unless coming off a cycle. But his excuse was actually a good one because the site he tried to supposedly but coal is does send fake shit. But then again wtf does he need cialis already. But just pointing out nolvadex and clones are not steroids there just on the anti doping list. But remember jones did beat him while binging on coke which actually deteriorates your muscle. I think jones main concern is inactivity the last 3 years.

Cyborg is a lock. L-O-C-K. Even at her price, I mean she could easily finish on 120+ imo. And I expect at the worst a R2 KO/TKO. I’m paying for her, and I’m probably going to be doing so in a large majority of my GPP teams as well.

Jon Jones. The line just keeps moving higher and higher (-255 right now) +235 ITD. But DC at 7300 I mean my god. Especially if this fight is expected to go a full 5 which it is (-184 to start R5). As much as I like Jon to win this fight, DC at 7300 is just so cheap. Still working on this one but in cash I’m definitely leaning stacking this fight. If they cancel this fight, we riot. #AndNew

Woodley/Maia – Make no mistake about it, if Maia can get this fight to the ground somehow, he will win this 170 strap. People keep passing him over and it is a HUGE mistake. His jiujitsu is just on another level. The thing is, Tyron is a wrestler, and a damn good one. How is Maia going to be able to take down a wrestler with a 91% TD defense? And there lies the problem. For me though, with everything else on the card, it’s either Maia or a no play for me. This is not necessarily a price play either although I do like only paying 7500, I do think Maia can win this fight

Lawler/Cerrone – Outside of his last fight with Masvidal, Cowboy has looked like a destroyer at 170. He got some time off, got to heal up properly, got a full camp in and then some, Cowboy is going to be at his best on Saturday. That said, I love Robbie Lawler. Seriously the guy is one of my favorite fighters but he hasn’t fought since losing to Tyron and we just don’t know what he’s been doing or going to look like. He can obviously trade with anyone and has incredible power though and I’m going to side with Robbie in this fight. I think his aggression, striking and power will wear Cowboy down as this fight goes on but then again it’s only a 3 round fight. This one’s tough to play and TBH I think I might be staying away on DK and just watching as a fan. Can easily see a decision here

So many more fights but that’s all I have for now. I do like Manuawa although pricey, and right now I really like Jason Knight as well, dude just knocks guys out, and has a blast doing it. 8100 is a good price imo.

I’m avoiding Woodley/Maia like the plague. Woodley’s TD defense is too good for Maia to score a lot, and Woodley is too inactive offensively for him to score a lot. The only way this fight is worth playing is if there is a 1st round finish, which is very unlikely.

I’m riding the Jason Knight train until that guy loses. His last couple of fights, he looks unstoppable.

Cyborg’s floor is 100.5 points – one punch, first round, knockdown KO. That is worst case.

Keep in mind, Cormier’s low price tag has absolutely no impact on whether or not you stack that fight for cash. DK (I guess for simplicity) lines up every fight at $16,200 combined. e.g., if DC was $2,100; Jon Jones would be $14,100. Same stack price.

Wish Choi was still on the card. I would have played him heavily. Maybe even Northcutt, too. I think he would’ve KO’d Makdessi. Dude has some power, and might have been a decent price after losing to Gall.

This is terrible DK just bared me from Beginner contest.

Cool Cool, will check it out.

I got a nice play this weekend, but I don’t want to say it on here cause the chances of it happening are really damn low.

Lot of excellent and great points

Couple notes, you have Jon Jones v. Tyron Woodley as subheader
Oezdemir is going to ruin your night again (probably not but i’m sure that was assumed the last two fights as well :D)

will cyborg look a lot different without the special supplements.. hmmm

Tonya Evinger is the one that will look different, but on Sunday morning.

Expecting a KO or submission from Daniel “my dick works” Cormier.
A KO from Christian Cyborg too

  • SlackerAtDFS

I’m not too confident in Jones returning to glory. He looked pretty bad against OSP, winning that one by decision. If he shows up looking anything like he did in that fight, Cormier will dominate him. It’s hard to picture Cormier finishing him because we’ve never seen anyone finish him, but it was also hard to picture Anderson Silva getting finished before Weidman knocked him out. My money would be on DC, just think Jones is too screwed up in the head after the last couple of years. Downward spiral continues downward.

Jones will win and there will be a rematch to follow

I really can’t see anybody under $7,700 winning the matter how much I try does anybody have any reasonable logic as to why anybody down there can win

People saying Jones is a lock are out of thier minds. Cormier had been consistent, looking great, and focused. Jones fought once and looked terrible. At Cormier price he is almost in 100% of my lines.

  • kittymanportrait

Shelton for one. I know Brooks looks like a dynamo on tape but it’s his first fight in the ufc and Shelton just gave Pantoja all he could handle. Maia has been on a hell of a run and I think Woodley’s tendency to back himself into the cage can really hurt him here since that’s where Maia would prefer him anyways. Maia is kind of a wizard at taking the back and getting the choke. And speaking of wizardry, Oezdemir must be some kind of magician to have knocked out Cirkunov like he did. I think he might just be one of those very solid guys that does nothing impressive or spectacular except for finding ways to win. Plus his odds are improving by the hour.

Great stuff men —- can’t wait to watch this since I’m on a couple days of vacation for a long weekend before prep football season starts practice on MONDAY.

    MY ? IS

And I looked but didn’t see anything.

What happens if 2 or more peeps tie for that HARLEY??????????? That would be sick to win and have the only LU, but it seems really unlikely, or am I wrong?
