Now, I’ve never seen Williams fight, but I find it hard to bet against someone with the nickname “Khaos the Ox Fighter”. I should just lock him into all my lineups right now.

DK has “Khaos” and almost everywhere else, except for UFC Stats which they pull from, has his (I’m assuming) given name of “Kalinn”. I defer to what DK has, but man I came so close to putting him down as “Khaos the Ox Fighter” lol since that is what I saw first when I searched.

You know what – I’m going to do that lol WHY NOT

Johns/Bautista low key a solid fight (keyed-in on Johns fyi, so go other way)

  • iron_tactics

Santos came a little close to KOing Jones when he was messing around last fight. Not that Jones was wobbled, but there a couple instances you could tell he was rocked, he just recovers so damn quickly. Question is does Jones play his food again and risk getting KO’d by Reyes. Or does he go in, and finish this quickly. I’m siding with first one right now. See how interviews and such go.

I think Reyes is a dangerous fight for Jones if he can defend the takedown (I know big “if”). Reyes is the same size; he’s a tricky south paw… and I think he’s a lot quicker than Jones. I like Reyes by decision for +1100 on DK sportsbook. To me, Jones has looked too beatable since the PED suspension. Obviously Jones should be able to tool him on the mat and could get a very high score for DK but at 9.4k and if he doesn’t get his grappling going… I don’t think I want a lot of Jones exposure here for DFS.

That said, I thought Rakic would be the guy to beat Jones… and he just got out-pressured by Volkan. When you have young guys with so few pro fights under their belt, probably best to temper my expectations.

Initially I thought Justin Tafa was Ben Sosoli and wanted no part of this fight. But shit, Tafa is so sloppy, even a guy like Juan Adams could get himself a first round finish (and I assume this is what the UFC has in mind) I went from fading the fight to almost all-in on this one.

Antonio Arroyo OUT – James Krause IN

“However, longtime UFC welterweight and former lightweight James Krause happened to be in the building, there to corner recent UFC signee Youssef Zalal in the opening fight of the night. And the owner and head instructor of Glory MMA & Fitness has decided he might as well take a fight at 185 lbs on 24 hrs notice while he’s at it.” – from a Bloody Elbow article

    I hope he wins lol

    I think I favor him… 8.1k seems fair.

    Don’t hate it.

What do you think about Lewis at $9k? First round finish? I was watching ceremonial weigh-ins and JC he was looking at Latifi like a Hot Pocket he’s about to microwave. The size difference is scary, we know BB throws bombs & the last time we saw Latifi…it wasn’t great. I always worry about Heavyweights getting into slogfests but feel like Beast is getting a KO here. I also thought Bevon Lewis was getting a KO so I can’t trust my judgment.

  • thevogaman

Still haven’t watched the weigh-ins yet, but yeah, I’ll probably be north of 40% exposure to Black Beast. So far lots of lineups with Lewis paired with Juan Adams.

I kind of think this card will be won before the co-main even starts. I’m dog or pass for draftkings on the last two and basically forcing myself to put some Shev and Bones in lineups on general principle right now.

    They just posted them.

We gotta think Krause ends up very highly owned in the $25 GPP, right?

I pivoted Krause in (low end GPP though), got to assume a lot of others did too.
Giles couldn’t have gotten a tougher opponent change on one day notice imo

Give me Reyes tonight and fading Lewis. You are either getting 130 points or 5 points.

In a single entry or MME? Agree with a SE you gotta get weird.

I’m only doing 1 lu in the $25. NFL kicked my ass this season so I’m taking it easy.

Right on. For sure would be unique. I have 5 lineups for this one. Probably going to have 100% Jones

I’m also doing 5, but only 1 with Jones, 1 with Reyes, and 3 without either one. I’m basically hoping Jones continues to spam kicks and doesn’t time any takedowns early in rounds.

It must be the night of doing 5 lineups. I’m also doing 5, but I went 3 with Jones, 2 with Reyes.

Completely with you on fading Lewis, but I’m not going to feel good about it until the first round is over. Could see him getting a low scoring win here. I’m going to say 68.5 points.

My take is that Jones has had a different mentality against each of his past opponents which translates to how he fights. With the one I think he has for Reyes, it might be a no BS end with early dominance. Like always with MMA, never truly know.

Sadly, Khaos the Ox Fighter just doesn’t look like a very good fighter and coming in on short notice so I’m taking Morono… which means expect the upset.

I also somehow ended up with Lauren Murphy in my lineup. I have no idea what I’m doing lol. GL everyone

  • yisman

    shevcenko/lewis or moron/jones?

    any thoughts?

my last 2 spots and I have 18,500

I’m in the same boat and feel awful about not taking Khaos the Ox Fighter just on principle. I have 3 of 5 lineups with Morono.
