I like it, just crazy enough to work.

  • someclevername

Think I’m going to start Jan, Nunes & Funk Master then go from there.

Yeah, I love these multiple title fight cards. Makes it pretty easy to figure out where to go (and where the public will go). I like Yan & Jan. Amanda Lemos should absolutely smash Livinha.

And Kyler Phillips at $7400… yes, please.

I saw that too – guess he has some serious health issues going on. Hope he’s able to make a full recovery and if he really is out out…man, what might have been.

I just saw something that had Dana White saying that he haven’t retire, just was feeling emotional

Yeah, I bet Dana did say that lol.

Who knows – it would be a damn shame if his career is cut short at 26, but at the same time he has to make the best decision for himself & his family.

Heard while he was in Vegas seeing doctors, they prescribed him prednisone (some type of steroid) to help him recover. He was supposed to be just chilling and relaxing. He decided to train and that prednisone kicked in and it cause him to get all emotional about being able to fight again.

A lot going on there – guess we’ll find out eventually if he’s coming back or not.

Meanwhile, Costa out here saying he lost cos he drank a bottle of wine the night before the fight lol dude…just take your L!!! Man, Adesanya absolutely wrecked that guy physically & mentally. Better get himself together before the Whittaker fight or it’ll happen again.

I gotta play Jan at 7k but…he might get Stylebender’d too.

Yeah Costa just need to focus on the Whitaker fight. I will have some Jan because of the price but I will be a little heavier on stylebender, unless this card goes to sh*t. 🤞🏾

I’m going to end up with Tim Elliott again I can feel it.

  • thedkexperience

Has anyone figured out if Blachowicz likes to down a bottle of wine before his fights?

We spend so much time on entrance music and weigh in shades I worry that we are missing the bigger questions.

He isn’t an idiot so probably not. Have to revisit this when Mike Perry fights next month though lol.

Adesanya “Don’t be surprised if I weigh in at 193”. Don’t like that

is there a “championship weight” at the light heavyweight or heavyweight division?

  • thevogaman

I think there’s something to the excuses about Costa’s performance against Adesanya. I would’ve guessed it was a whole bottle of percocet (not wine). At the time, I thought he took a dive. He always gets landed on at a high clip, but he legit didn’t throw anything the whole fight. I think it was like 10 strikes attempted in the first round. I think there was absolutely something wrong with him in that fight. That said, I also think Izzy probably wins in a one-sided manner if they were to fight again.

  • someclevername

Certainly possible that other factors were at play, but I don’t think it helped that Adesanya immediately started working on his lead leg. He was whipping those kicks early & often. Whatever all the reasons were, he’d be wise to stop looking in the rear-view mirror and focus straight ahead as he has a Robert Whittaker shaped 18 wheeler headed his direction. You don’t want to run your fight camp the same way I run my DK camp (crying about past losses and drinking).

LHW 186-205, so he should be fine coming in under. Just can’t weigh-in above 205.

I think it’s also possible his (Costa’s) cycle was off.

I still like Jan here. He could get picked apart in the stand up and just be too slow, but I don’t think people are giving him enough credit for how much he’s improved over the years. If he gets on top at any point, the fight is probably going to be over shortly thereafter.

Won’t hate it if he can land a few of those body kicks early. Dominick Reyes probably hears a loud noise and drops his arm to protect his right side to this day lol. Looked so painful, oof.

It will not shock me at all if Adesanya carves him up on the feet, but for 7k it’s like…Jan should get a few chances. I’ll take the shot. Interesting matchup, should be a great fight.

Anyone calling their Megan Anderson shot?

If she pulls it off, please let it be anything but a toe to the eye.

Yeah, looks like it. I’ll miss the weird cartoon avatars they created that look nothing like the fighter.
