^The golf forum has trained me to see that gif and immediately hope it was my guy that eagled lol. And when I see the name attached, it is usually not my guy.

Ooh, I remember (parts of) UFC London on St. Patrick’s Day last year – mainly cos that’s my bday (yeah, baby!) and you tend to remember that sort of thing – but also…that was the card Magomed Ankalaev tapped out w/like a second to go after dominating Paul “Bear Jew” Craig for the previous 14:59. Never forget. Also not to be forgotten (by me) John Phillips lost to Charles Byrd, accruing exactly 0 fantasy points in the process. I would like to point out that I was the only idiot on this, otherwise smart, forum that had Phillips and his awful ground game. Not even awful, just none (in fairness I was told, didn’t listen). Kevin Holland also got me about 150 points against him. Phillips sucks, but he’s a threat to get finished via sub moreso than ko’d. Marshman going to take it to the ground? He seems like a banger – if this is going to be a brawl, I’ll (ughhh) take a flier on Phillips. Maybe. 0 points as a floor though…never forget…

Danny “The Hatchet” Henry came through bigly last year – was leaning Ige for this one but still not sure. Danny Roberts also won a year ago, but I’m taking Silva here. Think he can get him down and pursue that sub. Last, but not least, Leon Edwards also won on that card. Edwards/Gunni is a tough one for me to call – they both have solid paths to victory. Leaning Edwards, think he can keep it standing where he should have the advantage.

Reyes all day for me. Gonna trust him for $9300 – Oez really, really disappointed against Smith. Not to say that he can’t get some crazy KO that looks like it barely touches, but that gas tank is a worry if you take him.

I’m going to fade Till/Masvidal and hope for a low scoring decision win for Till. I don’t see him knocking Masvidal out and I highly doubt he submits him – although anything is possible in MMA. Till’s ground game is a concern, Jorge is very well rounded. I just can’t trust him, I think it stays standing and goes to the judges and if it goes to the judges it is going to Till.

I ended up with 19 lineups in the big $15 and have very little Till. If he beats me, oh well.

Side note- Why does DK have so much trouble getting these fight cards right in terms of supply vs demand? Demand blew the top of the supply once again. I’m sure there is a method to their madness, but they’ve once again underestimated the demand. Boggles me mind.

  • jolokia

DK hardly gets anything right with contest sizing. MMA and eSports fill up 12+ hours before the contest start yet they never adjust. I almost want to apply for a position that guarantees them more money in rake with my “skills” (basic math and comparing risk to reward).

Anyways, instead of dropping 10+ lineups in the 15$ i’m doing very minimal (I missed the cut, I blame the bar). Till is a one hit wonder, I’m going with Masvidal (20%). All in on Reyes and Negum (the lil scuffle at the weigh ins was cute, dude must be upset about the receding hairline?), Silva 60%, Gunner 35%.

the Brees/Heini and Henry/Ige fights are big toss ups to me. oh and Duffy/Diakese, 4 losses in a row could hurt and the duffman ain’t no lay up. Diakese was a top prospect though… looking forward to the watching regardless!

    GOOD LUCK!

I upped my Neg % after seeing that weigh in. Anyone that knows me knows that I don’t back the “tough” guy in weigh ins. Neg is going to destroy him.

Oh F – as someone who only does a single bullet…this is worrisome. I’m currently on Safarov. I have to go watch weigh ins again now

Breese/Heinisch canceled if you haven’t logged in yet today

  • Kamais_Ookin

Trash breese this is the 2nd time he pull out that mental midget. I was really confident in Ian all week for this very reason facing a weak minded opponent.

  • Kassdog

I was 100% heinisch so this sucks.

  • joephoto

I can fit in Rinaldi or Grundy.

What do you guys think ?

I went heavy on Oezdemir. Lot of people talk about his gas tank using OSP and the Smith fight as main examples BUUUUUUUT
In the OSP Fight he was training for a heavyweight fight and with 10 days notice switch to light heavyweight for OSP, that’s not a fun cut. And the Smith fight he’s throwing fucking haymakers trying to take off Smith’s head and after 72 SS of that shit was just done. I’m assuming he learned lesson from that fight and doesn’t do that shit again but his wins usually come from being pressured not the other way around, and I see Reyes bringing the pressure and then donezo.

  • someclevername

Just woke up – so glad I didn’t have the Breese/Ian fight, whew. GL everyone
