Gutierrez Ko’s or easy decision over Can crusher. Davis should land TD’s and win decision. Saenz’ either lands multiple TD’s and cruises to decision or gets ko’d. Barber wins via brutal GnP stoppage or decision IMO. Pena could potentially get ko’d he’s a former 155lb twig who decided to cut to 145 and almost collapsed missed weight, see value in Peterson. 1 of Formiga or Figueirdedo seems mandatory but don’t know who wins. Makdessi vs Pinedo is massive uneven mu would be mortified if Makdessi lost. Could be low pts decision though. Blaydes will starch Willis. Thompson potential stoppage victory or low pts decision. These are my quick predictions lol.

I’m usually a “must-play” the main event type of guy, but this one looks like another fade / go underweight. I’ll probably get a little piece, but I’m treating Thompson pretty much like I treated Till last week (minimal exposure) and will just hope he doesn’t get KO’d by Pettis, lol. I like Blaydes even though he burned me in his last fight. Have to like Maycee too, right!? Peterson is my favorite dart.

    Gl everyone!

For anyone that cares – I still have the kitten. She’s mellowed a touch and my dog is a patient being. Trying to learn from her lol. Just a friendly reminder to not be an ahole and take care of your animals.

Totally agree on Gutierrez – in a perfect world, this is the easiest pick of the card. He should finish – MacDonald should be lost at this level. I have Barber but expecting JJ to put up a fight. I suspect a lot of ppl to roll w/Peterson – I have rostered Superman tat before, he’s not very good but he is durable and aggressive and playing against Pena’s weight cut – could be enough. On no planet do I see WB losing to Pettis – unless it is something absolutely bonkers. WB doesn’t “act” tough and it’s been a minute since we’ve seen him – but dude is tough as F. I just don’t see Pettis being able to finish him. Pettis couldn’t* even finish his last couple fights lol. $9300 for WB though…lil steep.

    Great to hear man!

Against my better judgment, I upped my WB exposure to 30%. Pure game theory move. Happy with everything else so no more tinkering!

Thompson is too expensive with little upside. He has to win early and be aggressive, which I haven’t seen him do in years. Blaydes should make easy work of Willis. I see everyone’s high on makdessi but pinedo is a big dude. Last minute opponent change means pinedo had to take a tougher opponent in makdessi to stay on the card. I see figs being the aggressor against forming, but getting submitted. I think pena didnt push the cut too far so should hold up to the damage. And dont sleep on Aldrich, she’s a fighter, so barber may not get the finish.

    Peterson will be chalk? 30%?

  • callmetouch

Saenz vs Vera is tooooooough. I love Vera but Saenz can win this by decision.

Never thought I’d live to see the day that Steven Peterson is chalk – it’s gross but I can’t seem to get away from him :/

Nope, chalk will be Blaydes and Guti.

  • someclevername

I have Saenz due to pricing – last 38 year old I picked was Tim Boetsch. This coincidence does not fill me with confidence.

Well Pena did lose his last fight. Looked tired. Counting the weight cut too. Doesn’t mean Pena can’t win this fight. He could finish Peterson but Peterson is very tough. I’m considering Peterson 100% but im skeptical

Well Pena is dropping down in weight which I always view as a boost to wrestlers. Reach advantage obviously, hyped and the UFC has been hyping him, can’t say judges won’t have a lean toward him as well say in a close decision. AKA wrestler (Oh hey Cain and Khabib can I get some tips?) vs. a boxer. Peterson I think has a way better life ethic and that aggression that fighters can’t be taught. Peterson takes way more than he gives though, and that’s lasted but when will it not? Tonight?

    Loving the Barber hype

I like Barber too. Been following her for 3 years and watching her evolve and join the ufc is inspirational.

I mean in terms of her match up against Aldrich. People talk like she’s a -500 favorite. That match will probably be way closer, or someone makes a JJ oops and gets subbed. Maycee got her purple……..a couple months ago I think. Aldrich is a brown. Karate vs South Paw TKD.

    I am on
    2 Wins
2 loses so far into this year.

I am playing a single lineup. Pettis has more chances to win tonight.
Thompson has a 300+ days ring rust following that lose to Till.

In the night of lack of underdogs i would say Pettis is that fighter that is expected to win.

Lack of underdogs? There’s like 9 real live ones.

Get ooooout of here. I liked Pettis last night but woke up with a moment of realization. Thompson will keep the distance. I highly highly doubt Pettis finishes Thompson and if it goes to decision and almost certain Thompson will win.

Mitchell against Moffett? Can Moffett really finish Mitchell?

  • someclevername

I’m getting cold feet on Peterson but I really don’t want to change my lineup now. I have not tinkered all day! Hope he brings his A game. Does he have an A game? lol

Both are good grapplers, they’ll both be sub hunting for sure. Could go either way. My lean is Moffett for the finish though. No matter how experienced people are it’s like everyone learns to defend arm bars, triangles, RnC, and completely ignores Anaconda and D’arce. I also don’t think highly of anyone that names themselves Thug Nasty and manages to drill their own scrotum.
