Interesting card here… Chris Weidman over Kelvin Gastelum all day!! Pat Cummins never beats people who can withstand his wrestling onslaught and although Gian Villante is capable, I don’t know if he will.. Dennis Bermudez can’t take a punch, Elkins takes too many.. Gimme the damage all day.. Loving Chase Sherman.. Rivera over Almeida… What do you guys think?

  • iron_tactics

At first seems like it’s gonna be almost all ground between Bermudez and Elkins. I would lean heavily toward Bermudez being the reason for it going to the ground so will probably watch interviews to see where is head at as far as hints on his game plan. With Chase Sherman if Grabowski decides to just stand with him then i’m sure most of us would agree Chase is likely to finish him quick as history would show. But, what happens if Grabowski gets him to the ground? Actually looking forward to the prelim fight between Albini and Johnson

LeRoi I don’t think you are giving Kelvin enough credit. Gastelum has been winning lately while Wideman has been getting his ass kicked. All be it by Romero and Rockhold nontheless his ass has been getting kicked. I do think that him being in his backyard will help him but I will have shares of both guys especially with where the prices are for both on DK.

I was at the Buffalo card, Moussasi was giving him the business before the knee shots to the head. Weidman will be fired up in Long Island. But I like Kelvin to wear him down for a 3rd round stoppage.

I like this card a lot actually. Think Laflare and fake Cowboy will be a good one. TD pts all day

Am I the only one that thinks Almeida’s got the KO power to put Rivera down? Vegas doesn’t agree with my assessment lol.

Looking forward to Weidman/Gastelum. Chris really needs a win but the opponents aren’t getting any easier. i think Kelvin puts him down in R3/R4

Why is Kelleher priced so high? He was impressive in his debut yes but that’s really all we’ve seen of him. I do like him to win though but 9200?

It’s like they got Kelleher and Burgos mixed up in pricing!!

so did they mess up with burgos so stats so far. i seen he had 3 kd and now only one. also only 52 ss. this should definatly be corrected?

i’m assuming, unless they pull some bs then i’m done playing Draft Kings

  • thetitanlb

The stats are messed up right now. Hasn’t recorded anything for the last 2 fights either

  • jovanmusk

yea i just looked at official stats. he had 2 kd and around 100ss, so it will get corrected. i was just confused because it looked like they had it right but changed it for some reason

  • Cfiander

Official UFC stats for Burgos: 122SS, 3KD. Draftkings looking pretty weak here.

  • iron_tactics

    Don’t think they’re fixing it

  • cordscords

Per twitter DK is looking into it.

Scoring seems to be messed up across a few different sports right now with dk. Must be some internal issue with them.

Yep they are aware and they say they are working on the issue.

  • eric42

I’ve had a scoring issue all of 2017. Maybe it’s contagious.

  • thetitanlb

    Yesssssssss.
    Cowboy slept him.

  • eric42

Almost time for Gastelum… he’s a pugilist. Picks his punches.

  • eric42

Hey Kelvin, maybe throw more than one punch a minute there, buddy. Make the fight yours.

Or just keep fighting old guys. Maybe I was fooled.

  • thetitanlb

Damn it. If Gastelum woulda won I was gonna finish top 5 in the $27 gpp. Too bad there was not like 30 more seconds in the first round or he might have finished him

  • Tugglife2

9th in the 5k clinch and 34th in the 10k strike. Nice day.

  • eric42

New strategy. Find a guy who has bad takedown defense, but is very good at getting out of it (no points for that), and take the guy he’s fighting.

Too many points rewarded for pick up, slam, let him free, wrestle down, let him free, etc. That’s like 30 points right there, but a clean, staggering uppercut is 0.5.

I realize the sport is very difficult to score for fantasy, but it’s kind of ridiculous with these crappy little takedowns. Maybe points should be given for getting up. Or points should be given to the opponent for withstanding a submission attempt.

Or perhaps make it simple. Go solely by time. Earlier always equals better.

Or even better… a casino with a sportsbook should open near my house.

  • kittymanportrait

+5 for takedown. -2.5 for letting opponent back up. That would put a damper on the takedown rinse and repeat glitch.
