I quit playing everything except NFL, because it’s soft and I can do it on the weekend.

I work full time in addition to my full time class schedule, so that factors in. But with increasing rake the accessibility of free tools, I wasn’t going to profit playing one or two days a week with 4 hours of research in other sports.

Considered doing that so many times, but I think MLB is something that CAN require less time since there arent usually late scratches to guys expected to make starts. 18 game NFL seasons. All I’m sayin.

I took the exact opposite approach of most in this thread. I wanted my free time to be my free time, so I went to all my classes and didn’t crack a book other than the morning of a test. I found that the professors pretty much told you what would be on the test, so the only schoolwork I did outside of class was writing the occasional paper and morning-of-the-test cramming which was just reviewing what I’d already heard. Much more free time that way.

This has nothing to really do with the convo, but wow Btwice, I think you and Condia where my first 2 opponents I ever played in any sort of DFS slate. You both absolutely mopped the floor with me lol. Alright, had to get that out of the way. PROCEED!!!

So anyone running into not having a 1099 from draftkings, when needing to complete financial aid application by march 1?

I feel for some of you there. I’d say in this case file with what you have, make an Estimate of DFS then make an Amendment later. But FAFSA is a clear exception and could require an Amendment later.

I feel for people on the West coast whether they’re in school or at work. I go to school in Indiana and love being in the Eastern time zone because I’m able to go to class, get homework and other work done before about 4pm then it leaves me 3 hours to get research done. The only thing you can really do to still go to class and have enough time for DFS would be to schedule classes as early as possible. It would suck having a full schedule every day in the AM but if it allows you to be successful in school and DFS, it might be worth it.

i guess it depends on your classes and if you can afford to skip them. i’m able to skip my classes from 4-6pm at uw-madison (yes, i have classes during that time most days) while still keeping a 3.0, but that’s because attendance isn’t mandatory and i can learn on my own through textbook/online material for those particular courses. honestly i hate going to class lol

Did the same shit in college but I skipped classes to get drunk instead of playing dfs lol still grad w 3.8 tho lol cheers mate
