NFL is the $$ maker, but CFB should easily exceed PGA and Neckar volume on most sites this season. The lack of advertising for CFB is still perplexing.

Any hints or sneak peak on new formats/roll outs, Large Mid-season tournaments, Live end of season Finals in Vegas? (Yeah, I’m bored today)

How soon will FD post contests in the lobby? I need to ensure liquidity and be prepared.

Edit: below is what we know so far….

    Live Finals/Big Tournaments:

    1. DraftKings College Football Championships – Dec 3-6 Miami, FL

    Contests Posted to Lobby:

    None

Almost done with my ACC preview should be done by this week!

Just updated based on what we know so far.

Deshuan Watson is my favorite player in college this year… who are some of yours

DK told me in an email just now that they still have no ETA on college football. Last week of August was their guess. That’s changed from before. Kind of irritating but it is what it is.

I think I’d rather them get it right and post it later than have a ton of mistakes in hopes of getting out early.

This, plus you have to wait to see who the starters will likely be! Lot of teams have a ton of question marks.

If we’ve learned anything, some coaches won’t decide until game week. Even then, it will change throughout the year.

  • Heywood9855

They will wait until the week before and still miss plenty of guys. Not much of a difference to post now.

This. Looking forward to cfb. Hopefully the edge doesn’t diminish too much this year

Still no College Football! Ughhh Hopefully they will get that Thursday night slate out soon so we will not lose our minds and go crazy. Maybe they will release Thursday sometime, they will be 2 week prior mark.

I will just say As a UNC Fan its pretty frustrating to have Marquise Williams as a stud and then not one single other viable fantasy player to go along with him on the entire team.

I agree with what you guys say about Fournette… I remember Jeremy Hill has an absolute stud, reminded me of Varsity Blues the movie, Hill would get LSU down inside the 10 yard line every time and Les Miles would hand the ball off to Hilliard or let the QB sneak it in. Hill could have had probably 8-10 more tds that year easily he was so good But Les held him back.

Just received this from FanDuel Support this morning… they are very helpful and responsive by the way.

“As of this moment, I believe that we will be posting our college football tournaments to the lobby by the end of next week. We are still in the process of determining the players and salaries for these tournaments.”

  • uncl3dunkl3

The longer these sites wait, the more accurate their player pricing will be, as they will have more information regarding true depth charts. First week pricing for college DFS is tough enough, and I’m glad no site has been quick to jump the gun. Soon we will all be happy :)

It will be sooner than that.

    Thanks Dillinger! Can’t wait!

    D4 to the rescue!

    excellent news

I understand the need to be precise on player salaries and availability, but I’d love it if they could just post the contests for the first week and games they’ll be targeting in the slates. I know we can largely deduce that by looking at the schedule ourselves, but it would be great to know so we don’t spend any time on a specific game that’s not going to be on the docket. Then they could post the players later.

  • theoddsmaker

Anyone know if DK is still planning on using literally every matchup (i.e. Alabama vs. Alcorn St. Tech Junior High All-Saints Co-ed Team)? I mean, DK, there are usually plenty of legit matchups in cfb…almost too many. Don’t need to include any non D1 only matchups!

Was my main reason for not playing there much last year.

  • 100rings

I cannot wait to post a thousand games on FanDuel to have adnoble and Putz take them all

  • iwrestle

Week one pricing is always a crap shoot anyway, post the games already!! Remember a couple years ago when FD had Jordan Lynch from NIU at 6K or something?

  • 100rings

I say that with the upmost ***Sarcasm adnoble and Putz, I love the competition.

  • 100rings

iwrestle i remember that, and the #1 Baylor WR opposite of Goodley I forget his name but he was like $6k as well, I believe Kareem Hunt was $6400. Id be ok with that pricing again :)
