NFL is the $$ maker, but CFB should easily exceed PGA and Neckar volume on most sites this season. The lack of advertising for CFB is still perplexing.

Any hints or sneak peak on new formats/roll outs, Large Mid-season tournaments, Live end of season Finals in Vegas? (Yeah, I’m bored today)

How soon will FD post contests in the lobby? I need to ensure liquidity and be prepared.

Edit: below is what we know so far….

    Live Finals/Big Tournaments:

    1. DraftKings College Football Championships – Dec 3-6 Miami, FL

    Contests Posted to Lobby:

    None

I think Rawleigh Williams will be the #2 soon. I’d expect he and Walker to get equal work against UTEP, but Williams will take control of the backup duties and we will see Walker in the 5-10 carry per game range. One thing worth noting is that Kody Walker handled goal line duties some as a freshman. Alex Collins is fine in short yardage situations but he has slimmed down and had some ball security issues in the past. It will be interesting to see if the 260 lb Walker gets the bulk of those carries once again.

To be very clear though, neither Rawleigh Williams III nor Kody Walker are anywhere near as talented as Alex Collins or Jonathan Williams. Bielema has shown at Wisconsin that he isn’t afraid to ride one guy. I think we will see Collins get a ton of work assuming he stays healthy.

With new OC Dan Enos calling plays this year, I also expect to see the backs more involved in the passing game. Collins only had 3 catches last season. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him in the 15-20 range this year.

Well said. Can’t disagree with anything you’ve got here.

    CFB live on FF Thursday!!!

  • tprokopenko

Fanduel has pricing up for Thursday, September 3rd games. Only Playboy Mansion qualifiers so far, but salaries can be viewed.

  • Mattg45

Awsome, I assume dk will release theirs in a few days.

  • BreakingBacon

Fanduel has some tournies open as well. $2 red shirt, 20k prize pool. Same size as the Saturday contests last year, so looks like a good sign that CFB will have a solid jump this year.

iwrestle if Collins comes in at like 7000 or 7500 or below he will be a steal, but over 7500 the value will not be all that great. At least thats how I look at it but I loved playing those Arkansas Running Backs last year, man its fun to watch them run the ball and gash it.

  • tprokopenko

Awesome, a $100,000 Hail Mary on the Thursday. Can’t wait to see the Early Saturday $25 GPP.

We are freaking live and everyone went from talking about Santa bringing presents to talking about Santa dropped off presents…how about we open them and have a real discussion now!! hop in the 9/3 thread I’m talking to myself in there!!!

  • kantiger77

Great to see FD post, hopefully DK follows. I was hoping to see the Colorado/Hawaii game on the slate – hopefully either DK or FA has it. Some good plays there.

What should we talk about Odds?

Well for starters the comment above yours is what I brought up in the 9/3 thread already. Maybe you guys don’t know about it yet but it’s here https://rotogrinders.com/threads/college-football-thursday-night-9-3-784916

Gonna be a lot of overlap if we discuss 9/3 in the anticipation thread

Golf is benefiting from non-NFL season conflict. The fact is that CFB advertising would take away from NFL advertising ,and NFL is where the money is made.

also its kinda unethical to promote making money off these college kids with them being allowed to make zero. plus the O’Bannon case is fresh in our minds and a legal case like that could destroy all of dfs so letting sleeping dogs lie is the smart route.
