I was just gonna post that – he shot 79 and is taking his balls home

Only 0.13% owned on $4 and even less at higher entry points

It wasn’t a good day today, though certainly not all is lost as of right now.

Only thing that went well was the one Showdown lu I made. I didn’t realize they were doing that for round 1 until this morning so threw 1 entry into the $8 with all late guys and it is cashing at $15 level even with Suri having 3 holes to go. Would be nice of Suri to rebound tomorrow and make cut or I’ll be sorry I rostered him.

C’mon Schenk knock in this walkoff bird

  • Dunzor

Suri really didn’t have one to give away but he’s got the 7 foot look for the bounce back…maybe he can go epic and drain that, then birdie the short par 4 and the par 5 for the walkoff streak. That seems like way to much to ask for but I’m asking for it anyway

Edit: Sweet he made the first one….two more to go!

..A course of this much difficulity without water or tricked up greens is sure pleasure to a golfer with all the tools. I think come sunday if there is no rain top of the leaderboard will be the cream 0f top 50 in the world will be there.

I just remembered I played a bunch of fantasy draft this week so I checked there and am doing real well there. I have 11 entries which is like 3 weeks worth but I saw contests this morning that weren’t full so I dove in. I even joined the $25 contest and am currently at the $60 level in 11th place and my dropped guy is Kirk, who isn’t doing that bad.

I love this course – lots of people hate it because it is a bit repetitious but the bunkers are awesome, huge and deep. There are a bunch in weird places.

Just a real good test of golf when it’s windy which is almost always.

    my golfers are -2, -1, E, E, +2, +2. Could be a lot worse I guess.

  • BIF

At a current cut line of +1 the current 6/6% is 7% to 7.5% across most GPPs and about 6.5-7% in cash

The 5/6% is 25% in GPP and only about 18% in cash

Ugh JT back to back bogeys to ruin a good round!

  • deepfat

Would feel a lot better about a good day if Poston doesn’t go bogey-bogey to end it. Ugh.

Was hoping for closer than 22 feet for the shot at it but hey it’s a chance, and even with a miss he had a very strong back nine to take some momentum into tomorrow and keep my hopes of 6/6 alive

I wouldn’t say Na is dead, I think if you are still at +7 or +8 you have a chance if you shoot a -5 tomorrow.

  • Mikeybaywatch

    Not a bad day I guess. -1,-1,+1,+2,+2,+2

    I can have 6/6 tomorrow or a 0/6. Lol.

His last 2 birdies gives me good hope to make cut and moved my 1 entry in the showdown today to the $20 level. I will take it..

These numbers are with 86 players currently at +1 or better so that number would be even lower if we had a more normal number of cut makers like 73-76 players.

  • qatman

Thanks to ZJ’s heroic stretch run, I am now at -4, -2, -1, E, E, +1 which should set up ok. The +1 is JB Holmes thanks to his double from the middle of the fairway at the last. Overall I’m pretty happy about that, but fully expect to lose at least one tomorrow.
