thats odd, id figure it be the opposite.

Yea draftkings screwed up when they made show down for golf.

They were supposed to put finishing place points for “weekend” showdown but they accidently put it for “round 4” showfoem and totally ruined the format.

The worst part is that instead of admitting the mistake and fixing it they doubled down and came up with some convoluted explanation that they meant to do it that way to promote interest.

Its like they think we are all stupid or something.

  • BrowInLockerRoom

    Luke Donald holes out too.

Not even like they in good position around the green

  • Kp24

Damn. Oost and Luke Donald hole out eagles on hole 1

Sergio with a cool 9 on a par 4… I dodged such a big bullet this week by not playing

That 9 only cost him 3 points (1 for the double and 2 for position points drop) and he made 4 birds today so no biggie – Had he been in Top 10 then it woulda been disastrous
I have a couple lineups cashing well with Sergio but he is the worst guy on those lineups

The tournament really comes down to the top 3. They are just way better than the field. Would be shocking if one of them didn’t win.

All I said earlier was you should have weighted Vegas odds more this tournament than other ones, not saying it’s the only thing to use. It’s because positional points mean more here. Look at all the alternative high price players who busted not named DJ.

Yea you’re right about this event. DJ was way too underowned this event.

It took me like 30 seconds of looking at the numbers to realise I was just gonna go 100% DJ which ensured I was making a +EV decision.

Ultimately i think about 80% DJ was prob about “correct”

DJ underowned ?? He’s the #1 owned guy at 28-35% across GPPs in a full field event

Also, he is barely even needed right now as he has the 3rd or 4th most fantasy points at highest salary behind Casey, Kokrak and right with Louie.

  • BIF

RCB birdies 3 of the last 5 holes to get back to Even today and shoots 71-71-71-71

  • BIF

With the N Taylor and Ryan Armour birds along with the DJ, Louie and Im bogies, I shot up from 150th in the big $5 to 16th. I’m low on holes remaining but have Casey, Kokrak, Taylor, Armour in Top 4 plus Niemann and Garcia

  • BBWC_10

Thank you Roberto Castro for your +10 today and taking half of my winnings with you.

  • Dunzor

I just saw Castro’s score today….he must’ve gotten hurt or something, was playing solid and then he shoots +10 losing like 5 shots putting with the yips or something. I can’t seem to get anything right the last few weeks. Kinda crazy how it comes and goes in streaks but I think I’ll have to revamp my research again as we enter the heart of the season

  • byo34

Man Dustin is just so off today.

    He’s still drastically “underowned”.

He should have been over 50% owned clearly just based on the math this week.

I doubt you’ll find any serious MME pro who wasn’t way over the field on DJ.

He was drastically underpriced this week. By like $1,000 given the relative weakness of the field and the nature of the scoring in this event.

There was literally no conceivable argument for being underweight this week if youre a math/scenario analysis guy.

And if youre an MME guy and not a math/scenario analysis guy you won’t last long in DFS golf as it simply comprises way too much of the overall strategy

    Ryan Armour

Helluva round so far. Faded him because I was scared of his lack of length and p5 scoring and he’s done nothing but prove me wrong. He’s so consistent and always sub 5%

  • BrowInLockerRoom

Got armour in showdown buy tried to grt cute and go Stallings over the chalky oosty.

    Yikes

If I counted correctly, he scored +1.5 FFPs today. 4 putts 17. 🤦‍♂️

I disagree – DJ’s inherent advantages don’t exist here, his length and par 5 prowess mean very little here so despite the “position points mean more here” argument, there was no reason to lock in on the most expensive guy. He is not going to rattle off 25 birdies like he does by dominating wide open birdie fest courses.

I was 100% fade and don’t regret it but am surprised he was near the top, I expected him to be around 15th.

ned sam burns some of that magic from yesterday to turn it around for showdown

Castro ended with 44 points on the week, 12 more than the worst missed cut.

  • BIF

Nick Taylor 9 holes in today
    1 Par
    4 bogies
    4 birdies

Love the fantasy points here on a tough scoring day

  • BrowInLockerRoom

Nick Taylor not great for my showdown but helping full week.

    10 holes…1 par.
