My happy meal lineup is in 1st, which is also in the 60K birdie. Chip chair and a chance with my 1st 6/6 in a while

I’ll get you, and your little dog too!

Well you can be happy knowing I went from like 60% 6/6 -> 5% 6/6 with the cut difference. That’s a huge swing for me.

I still have some good teams but I’ll first need JB Holmes not to win and then second need like Ben An or Billy Horschel to win.

I didn’t criticize the other golfers. I just said Hovland should have a better chance at winning a major then them, and it didn’t make sense he was lower priced than all of them (they should be all like the same price). I think Morikawa is a solid player but his length isn’t good enough to win 2 of the Majors. Scheffler doesn’t hit it straight enough to be consistent. I stand by the fact that Hovland should have the best shot of that group.

I had 5 guys at Even (Putnam, Na and Palmer hurt the most) and Brian Stuard +1 who bogies his last 2 holes. I was looking at around 50-60% 6/6 as well but I think the -1 cut probably is better as the 6/6 was 27% at Even and most of my lineups with guys at Even we’re way behind and barely cashing.

Hovland is good but his game seems a little immature still – couple small scoring mistakes here/there that cost him a bogey or not giving himself good birdie chance – some guys get it right away and win like Spieth and a few while others take a couple years like JT (and then explode for wins) – the line is so fine between Wins/Top5’s versus finishing 20th-30th versus the guys just missing cuts.

True on Scheffler on some courses but he will probably win more than Hovland and be like DJ-lite as there are at least 10-12 bombers courses each year he can try to feast on.

Billy ho hit his second shot on hole 17. This spectator said HEY BILLY YOU SUCK. Billy got in the guys face and his caddy went through the ropes to talk. Then billy was yelling “hey officer, hey cop take that man away”. And the cop obliged and ejected the fan away from the tournament. And to be honest the shot did suck and billy should have accepted the truth

Nice I’m “right behind you” in 98th place but I’m expecting big things from my 3/6 so watch out !

Billy sounds like a whiny snitch

It’ll definitely hurt me because I don’t have enough top teams to make up for it unless somehow like Hideki goes crazy on the weekend and helps my best Club Twirl team. I played 3 Pressure Putt teams this week, which is a lot for me. Usually I only do 1 but since we are getting to the normal swing of things where a lot of top players are playing each week, I decided to do 3. I would have had all 3 get 6/6 with an E cut, but now it’s only 1 6/6, so that’s pretty costly for me. And the 1 6/6 does not have Horschel or An where the other 2 did, so it doesn’t have much upside.

Besides Hovland, I had a bunch of other guys at E scattered on teams, who missed some critical putts down the stretch. I alos had Scheffler too (on cash with Hovland, so that’s not cashing since it’ll be the 5/6s that probably cash). Thought he would be a great course fit here, but looking at his ST, he really struggled around the greens on day 1 from the bunker, and his putting cost him today.

Going from 2nd place to 70th place in the happy meal is going to be devestating

I have 3 out of 7 6/6’s. Which is a vast improvement over my “no 6/6’s since the Stone Age.”

In looking at my nice 3/6 in 98th of 100 in the Happy Meal, I saw MachineMan in 100th with a 0/6 – really hard to believe his lineup with: Scheffler, Hovland, Cam Smith, Palmer, Wolff, Reavie could go 0/6…Crazy Week

  • titanhawks

I got one of three 6/6 with Piercy and Homa who somehow made the cut and I’m 39th in the FGD and 98th in the PME and looking forward to a great weekend finally in full week

Unfortunately my other two are 4/6

I like what he did with the salaries. That lineup calms my OCD.

    Can’t get more balanced than going with salaries of 8500, 8400, 8300, 8200, 8100, 8000

All decent plays though that garnered decent ownership or maybe I’m biased as I owned 3 of them in my player pool 😂

I just mean the strategy of selecting one lineup all guys that fit within a tight middle road range looks like it’s all salary based and not golfer based. I had 3 in my pool as well.

Yeah I posted this last weekend that this kind of lineup was one of the best lineups last week (at least in making the cut). The 8K range was actually the most solid range for making cuts over the last handful of tournaments so can’t fault anyone there (and those are mostly solid players). Can’t believe Cam Smith this week. Just spiraled out of control for him.

  • ecb34

Really random question, maybe you guys can help me out. There is a golfer (I thought he was Korean), they said he modeled his swing after 2000 Tiger Woods watching videos on YouTube. Anyone remember who it is?

  • Dunzor

Like I mentioned earlier in the week I scaled back this week without my normal research time so only went single lineup on DK and went 4/6, but on FD I’ve got a nice 6/6 with upward potential with:
    Long -8
    Rahm -7
    Morikawa -6
    Woodland -5
    Im -4
    Gooch -1
