A bit of a quiet week for football weather, but still a few places worth mentioning:

KC @ BUF – Game time temps will be around 40 degrees, with a steady (but not overpowering) wind starting at 10mph and ramping up to 15mph by the 4th quarter. Some isolated showers are possible during the game as well, but it’s FAR from a wash-out.
Combine the cold, a decent wind, and some isolated showers, and you have just a classically crappy day. No one factor will make or break this game, but all of it combined makes me give a very slight bump down to the air/kicking game. I would only factor in weather for this one if you are on the fence and need a tie-breaker.

ATL @ TB – National Weather Service meteorologists are calling for “sprinkles’, but radar trends are slightly more impressive than that. I’d call it “light rain” as opposed to sprinkles, but that’s pretty nit-picky. The key here is that winds are not an issue, and any rainfall would be spotty at best. To me, light rain + no winds = no fade.

DAL @ JAX (In London) – Just wanted to reassure you guys that I did forecast for London, not Jacksonville, and that the weather at Wembley looks fine. No worries here.

NYG @ SEA – Rainfall here will be a bigger issue in the morning. I’m watching a huge swath of rain clear out as I type this, but there’s not much left upstream (IE, not much left sticking around during game-time). I’ll keep some isolated light rain in the forecast, but I don’t expect it to be impactful. Much like in TB, winds here will be light, and I don’t expect any issues throwing the ball (other than the issue of Eli Manning sucking at life, but that’s an angry rant we don’t need right now).

CHI @ GB – This is a fun little forecast, but in the end it looks like the only threat is the cold. There’s a nice light rain/snow combo falling in the morning, but that will be clear by around noon. Precip will then hold off until another round of snow overnight and into early tomorrow morning, but the game-time window looks clean.
The cold could end up being an issue, although these are two cold-weather teams used to harsh conditions. Temps during game-time will hover just a bit above freezing, with a gentle breeze making the wind-chill value just below freezing. I don’t really think cold weather is going to impact scoring, so I wouldn’t fade based on that.

That’s it! A lot of text there to basically say “looks pretty good this week!”. As always, follow me on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) for DFS updates.

    Best of luck! – Kevin
