You can go ahead and pencil in Rose as the winner since I refuse to get burned by him 2 weeks in a row.

    Rose
    Mickelson
    Casey

    should all be targets, correct?

I missed his finish last year. Only saw his T32 in 2013

    4th in 2012 too. 3 top 25 and all top 40 last 5 years.

Bohn also cheap and only 7100 with 2 straight tops ten’s here, will be interesting to see how often he is paired with Rory to save salary or of people are still afraid and looking at recent form.

Howell cheap again and good course history, gonna have huge ownership

    Has George McNeill DQ’d yet?

LOL. Man, I’m still salty about that.

  • Nodak

Damn. Had 5/13 LUs with DJ. Time to do some tinkering.

  • thetitanlb

I was gonna have some DJ. Maybe ill pivot to Adam Scott.

What 1 stat are you focusing on the most this week?

For me it is Strokes Gained Tee:to-Green
    followed by
    Greens in Regulation.

This is exactly what I’m worried about. lol. I was gonna be heavy on DJ (and I don’t like him lol) Now, Idk where to go. Is Rory going to be very highly owned? Will people just bite the bullet at the price or will he be a pay up to be contrarian option?

  • CJtheGrump

    Derek Fathauer – DARK HORSE…..

(That’s based on almost nothing except I liked how he did when I rostered him that one time.)

who’s gonna roster Furyk in his first tourney back this year?

Yeah im not sure on this really. This kind of throws a wrench in my thoughts and ideas on the high priced guys.

I mean I think every publication is going to say “Play Rory, he’s a slam dunk” but then when they offer other plays that the like and people go to construct a team they are so hamstrung by his cost that he better win the thing lol.

I have to say after the last few weeks making lineups here is a cake walk and maybe the weather will hold out?

  • JimKronlund

I am still not sure what the worry is about taking any of the top players. Crafting the players around him is where you make your money. Ultimately you want to pick the winner. No matter how many people own him. There are many players that can/will surprise and its within these players that make it or break it for you.
I like Fatheur as well. He is a bit of a circus pics but always seems to make a decent amount of birdies.

  • billholler

I am fading Furyk. I have had similar wrist issues to his and don’t think there is any way he is 100% right now. I foresee quite a few shanks this week.

I am still telling you guys it is a total crap shoot!

I would rather fade the highest owned, high priced guy and take my chances. Just my strategy but golf is so variable however I have done quite well with my process and made decent money through my process. None of these guys are Tiger, it’s not a Tiger vs. the field bet here. There are so many golfers out there right now that if you told me Rory was going to be 20% and Scott was going to be 10% I will take Scott and his chances to beat Rory 10 times out of 10 and Rory is my favorite golfer personally so that should reinforce my opinion.

  • Nodak

With DJ WD I’ve decided to stack LUs with Scott/Ch3 Mickelson/Casey Rose/Scott and Scott/Mickelson.

  • Cbed11

I read somewhere that Rory was -13 on the 16 par 5s last year.

  • mschu1213

Feel like with DJ out everyone will just play Scott and make him really really high owned
