Nice Rory, only 30 yds long on a 135 yard hole, not bad

HV3 is an interesting player. Never any fireworks, no eagles, no double bogeys. Pars you to death, occasional birdie and sneaks up on everybody.

And of course, talking about him was an instant jinx. Bogey, and then the good ole 4-putt for a double. Misery.

This was Rory telling you to stfu. :)

Hopefully Rory can close with a birdie.

    Wow this guy is fast.
    THE Fantasy Fanatics
The field list for THE PLAYERS Championship has been loaded, so you can redeem a credit and get started on your research at any time. One caveat if you do start early – since the field list on PGATOUR.com right now is most likely incomplete, I will need to reset everybody’s model on Monday after loading salaries to make sure you all have the full player list.

Good luck this weekend! Hopefully you all have some 6/6 lineups to sweat.

Nice shot Phil – the head height screamer off the grandstands was a bold play

  • cy1985

Kevin Chappell had a Rory round. So frustrating.

I need Fowler and Rose to have a meltdown =( So far it looks like I’m going to just cash 5 of 6 teams with no big payday .. Yawn*****

I don’t know about Fowler and Rose tomorrow but Phil is having one on 18 today – looking at double but who knows as TV coverage just went off

  • Campbell00021

Phil with an 8 on the last hole. My goodness.

  • JimKronlund

Phil Mickelson’s last hole looks like a rubber bullet shot inside a barrel.

It does, and that’s exactly what scares me about Phil. He will never lead the tour in fairways hit, and he will always depend on the ability to scramble, short game and putting. This has all been missing this year and I think the guy is cooked.

Was on Glover also but switched to Hearn :$ So expect a top 5 from Glover and a miss cut from the Canadian .

This might come true :$ wizard.

Ok, so in the $300 DK 3-Wood Im 92/592 with my single entry.

    Justin Rose -7
    Lucas Glover -5
    Adam Scott -1
    Patrick Reed +1
    William McGirt +2
    Jaime Donaldson MC

The 6/6 was like 2% this week, so my 5/6 is cashing (top 119 cash). My question is, what type of chance does this team have to stay in the cash tomorrow, or best case, a high cash?

This is my 1st ever PGA GPP at this level buy in. Im used to not even sniffing cash with a 5/6 in lower stakes.

Thanks in advance for any replys.

I personally think Rose is going to win this and I’m going to be riding him every week to the us open( thinking about putting $500 on him to win the us open outright) . Reed and Scott can easily make some noise tomorrow and come top 15 with Glover a past champion coming in the top 5 . You should be good for a minimum cash .

Had a guy at a scramble I played in Friday offer up free tickets for sat/sun at oakmont… The more I research this course the more I wish I took the tix so I coulda ran on the course and taken a single putt to see how putting it 20 ft past the hole would feel like

Its going to be tough. You will need quite a few birdies and other point getting chances. Best of luck.

For the first time in about a year I did not play my favorite golfer James Hahn. His form was so bad and he was actually 7k. Of course he has a chance to win the week I finally did not play him. Still hope he can somehow pull this out and win. James Hahn is my dude!

If you didn’t play him this week, you deserve all the misery coming your way Titan.

Lol no misery. Only happiness. I’m not close enough to where it would matter. Plus he is like .20% owned lol

You have a decent chance to stay in the money. Anyone with 6/6 is already going to be ahead of you, so its not like your losing ground just for only having 5. Your certainly going to need strong days from a bunch of guys though, and a lot will depend on who wins, obviously if fowler does not win that will help you a lot as hes highly owned so all those people will lose the finishing position points.

As far as a high cash you would need everyone on your team to make tons of birdies, and you would need rose to win.
