He studied the course, He mapped out best guess second shots and he looked for The players best suited to make those shots. I tried it but lacked his understanding and general golf knowledge to be able to continue.

I remember doing that for one course (it might have been a major; maybe Bethpage Black) where all of the touts and a lot of us in here were focusing in on some kind of yardage stat, like 175-200 yards, as being extremely important that week. I pulled up the course, plugged in a spreadsheet all of likely tee shot ranges and approach ranges of every single hole, and it was kind of funny that only like 3 holes were going to require a 175-200 yard approach shot, yet everyone thought it was like the holy grail of stats that week. Combine that with the variance in the driving length of each player, or some choosing a different club off the tee, and it ended up seeming so meaningless to focus on a stat like that.

But, yes, I’m like you….I wouldn’t be able to plop myself down in a fairway on a google earth, and then run 150 players through my imagination of who I’d want to have standing over a golf ball in that situation, let alone mix in all 18 holes. Kudos to those who have that skill.

I think Coop went to “run pure” with AP? If so, good for them…

Gotcha. Honestly besides here I really don’t look around anywhere else but would if I “knew” who was spitting out the content.

And I’ve kind of been the same way. Either just a lineup or 20 quarters (until Majors). Been a rough couple PGA years for me.

Way to go Todd. Possibly cost yourself a bunch of money because you are too stupid to get the shots.

OK, PGA player, you probably wont get too sick if you get the covid but you absolutely will not be able to play (and make money) for 1-2 weeks. Who the f*** on the PGA would risk it? Especially with majors coming up. Apparently a lot of guys as we have seen 5 or so cases just in the past 2 weeks.

Edit: Sorry, for the F-bomb. I have edited it.

Todd wasn’t eligible for the PGA Championship – he’d have had to have won this week or next to qualify. He is already qualified for the US Open, and he’ll have plenty of time to recover to try to qualify for The Open. Not that makes the diagnosis or positive case a good thing, but it’s not a career-breaker.

Additionally he’s 57th in OWGR currently. I’m sure he’ll want to get to the T50 in OWGR by the end of the year, but again, he’ll have time to get there.

Am I blind, or did they get rid of the $3 3 max??

That’s weird. I just played it last week. Maybe they’re still posting some contests.

Yes there is, just no golf shows this week as Pat is in the process of moving.

I cashed in the Golflandia tourney last week with a 5/6. I’m in it again.

Any love for former elite golfer Tommy Fleetwood? I’m seeing like 4% ownership. Is he really that bad?

    T-9 at 1st Masters
    T-46 at 2nd Masters
    T-10 at Arnold Palmer

Those aren’t exactly easy tournaments. He did just miss the cut at the Heritage, though.

5/6 is the way to go as I can’t get 6/6 to save my life. I did pick up my first ever GPP win via the Fantasy Golf Degenerates Listener League with a 5/6 that didn’t include Sam Burns. Still insane to think how that held on but Hovland’s big Sunday to move up to 3rd helped as I also had Keegan, Tringale and Homa in the top 6. I am excited to get my RG premium membership back for a month and have an extra $500 of a $5 entry to spend chasing bigger cashes lol.

I am angry enough at Tommy to just fade him again.

I am also VERY angry at Emiliano Grillo, but I will have him some.

I know emotions shouldn’t enter into your data science decisions, but they are real.

I think they have been shaking the trees. I dont know to what purpose but it is just the thing that gets me upset. There is so much variance in gambling and golf, they change things that need to be looked at in order to play consistant contests. This week they want us to pay up for $8 3-entry (dont remember that one before) Even though the contest name Mulligan was used as something else before.

I hate when they change up the basics….% to first, % entries getting paid, and how much min cash payout.

He did not look good at Heritage. He was not in my initial build, but that ownership is appealing.

Poulter trying to steal from Cink’s playbook this week and has his son Luke caddying for him. Poulter’s regular caddie wants the week off so his 16yr old son Luke is stepping in.

Luke Poulter is around 6’3” and a scratch player; he is also ranked in Top 100-150 in the AJGA rankings. .

I can’t figure out how to link to instagram so this will have to do.

Poulter notified he will be monitored for his pace of play this week, his reaction is priceless.

Crap, I missed the risk-free thing again today (NBA today, MLB yesterday). I better set a 10am reminder for the PGA one tomorrow.

I sent DK a message, and all they told me was to play the $3 showdown, I told them I don’t play showdowns, and said they will pass my feedback on.. ridiculous.. I’ve played that tournament for years I feel like, but now I’m paying up for an $8 or a $20 3max..

I imagine just about everyone must be on that list. When do they start the clock and how does shot link know? So, those shotlink guys out there are hitting a button when the golfer arrives at his ball or something? Seems open to a lot of error, especially for a 45 second clock.

Are the guys running shot link volunteers or PGA employees? If volunteers, there has to be some leeway for a 1/2 second.

Also like how they broke it down to thousandths of a second. 🙄
