I have him as well, but mostly just for salary relief. Just need a made cut to pay off salary. Need to fit those bombers in up top.

  • mitchsnyderdfw

Damn. Just looked at the weather report, looks like high winds Friday afternoon. May need to adjust to limit exposure to guys finishing late on Friday

Todd wasn’t eligible for the PGA Championship – he’d have had to have won this week or next to qualify. He is already qualified for the US Open, and he’ll have plenty of time to recover to try to qualify for The Open. Not that makes the diagnosis or positive case a good thing, but it’s not a career-breaker.

Where did you read that B Todd isn’t eligible for the PGA Championship?

He was one of the 30 who made it to the Tour Championship – I believe that gets you into all 4 majors.

I can’t figure out how to link to instagram so this will have to do.

Poulter notified he will be monitored for his pace of play this week, his reaction is priceless.

Poulter has some great one liners – this past Sunday, he was getting heckled by a fan most of the back nine and he took it but then after missing a green the heckler said “aah Ian, you won’t be able to buy a Ferrari with shots like that” to which Poulter responded “that’s alright, I already have (3 or 5)” – I could not make out how many he said but it was funny and shut the guy up. 😂

Then later on he was taking about his son Luke caddying for him and how Luke was 16 and a good golfer – then he said Luke was taller than him and that he hits it further than Ian but he has yet to beat his dad. Ian then said with that Ryder Cup smile/smirk, I’m not letting him have that one easily 😂 basically implying that he grinds extra hard to make sure Luke doesn’t beat him.

He’s not eligible that way but I looked again and you auto qualify if you’re 70 or better in the FedEx points standings. He’s 62. So my bad. I must have misread it.

Actually I was just coming back to say I was mistaken, I guess they don’t do that anymore; as of this moment, he is only in the US Open (plus the Masters that was just played) off that Tour Championship appearance.

The cutoff date must be this weekend or next weekend for that Top 70 as he is still not officially listed in the field yet.

  • lfn1992

I don’t 100% know whether he could theoretically fall out of contention in the points race in the next two weeks, but it seems unlikely. There’s a 200,000 point gap between him and the current golfer in 70th place, Adam Long.

  • MrBreeze

Locked in 19 entries in the DTG and 69 in the Mini Max, plus 2 in the Mayo. That’s going to be it this week. Stars and Scrubs strategy.

Here is an interesting nugget for you guys, the DK salary of the tournament winners this season…

    ($ 7,900)
    ($ 6,700)
    ($ 8,300)
    ($ 7,200)
    ($ 7,400)
    ($ 9,900)
    ($ 11,000)
    ($ 9,500)
    ($ 8,200)
    ($ 10,100)
    ($ 8,800)
    ($ 10,100)
    ($ 8,200)
    ($ 7,500)
    ($ 8,700)

Winning salary 9500 and up happened only 40% of the time.

I played KSDT last week, doing so again this week. Same goes for Adam Schenk. I didn’t have Pat Perez last week, but he’s also in my punt pool now.

Happy 25K Crown week. Maybe I’ll go golfing

  • BrianVT

The Premier Golf League will crumble just like the European (Football) Super League did. Would it really be interesting to watch 16 golfers play each other in 5 tournaments, especially when some of them include Rickie Fowler and Henrik Stenson? Then, they all get banned from ever competing in the PGA or Euro Tour. It won’t happen. It’s basically just a bargaining chip.
