Its a nice nugget and I do not have any golfers that dont hit it a min of 300+ yards

So no Webb Simpson for you?

    No Webb for me

The way I see it, Driving accuracy and hence ball striking isnt so important as it has been the past 2 months. The long ball guys get a break because lack of accuracy isnt going to kill them. Add to that, I believe that putting isnt skewed to the great putters, the gap between the best and the rest is much smaller here.

that doesnt mean that good golf, hitting it long and straight and gettin to the green early is not possible or a bad thing. and even my fades can do well. The hottest putters will lead each round and the tournament.

    A little nugget I found:

Excluding James Hahn, all other winners here dating back to 2014 (Max Homa, Jason Day, Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy, JB Holmes) have ranked Top 15 in Driving Distance over their last 50 rounds entering the event.

It is a nice nugget for pointing towards a potential winner, but should probably be used along with other key trends.

Sorry guys, I’ve not been around much lately. Computer problems.

I got a question for some of the more experienced here

the best putters on a day?

does someone who cant hit the broad side of the barn off the tee, and is last in greens in regulations, ever have the best or close too the best SG putting? my focus always goes to the leaderboard on that type of stat.

..im no expert but that sounds peak Spiethian

I’m mostly bypassing stats for CH and some RF this week

Inviting myself to the Rory-Rickie Pity Party this week; If Rory can get Bryson’s awesomeness out of his head and go back to playing his own game he can return to his happy place this week and if Rickie can play to justify his special-person invite to the PGA he will make the cut at least

Winner: Dahmen needs to win this feature after taking the b-main on the island

    Fade: Awesome Bryson

Sleeper: I think my first time ever riding the KSDT; Wise and Vegas also

  • byo34

    Winner: Rory
    Fade: Reed
Sleeper: Killa “-9 strokes putting in a day” Mitchell

I kind of wish there were some Pre-cut two round contests like there is the weekend contests. The weather angle or AM/PM would be more interesting that way.

  • BrianVT

I hope this didn’t impact any of our big winners:

    Hi BrianVT,

DraftKings has updated the standings for one or more contests in which you participated.

As a result of this updated standing you had one or more entries move up to a higher payout level. We have credited your account with $0.13.

Funny, tour junkies named Wallace the Chalk Bomb for the week.

Of course last week they named Kokrak and the week of the Players they picked JT as the chalk bomb.

I’d like Ian more if his caddie/son was hitting the tee shots for him – 7600 yards is a lot for a guy who is falling down the driving distance standings.

    Canary Islands Championship

    Winner: Adri Arnaus
Fade: picked Laurie Canter last week, not great, would not suggest this week
    Sleeper: Pedro Oriol

  • kps3205s

Mixed up the process and this will probably bite me in the ass this week and my single LU.

    Winner Tringale
    Fade Everyone above Finau
    Sleeper Whaley

Good luck to everyone this week and win some $$$$$$

  • titanhawks

    EURO

    Winner: Calum Hill

    Fade: none really

    Sleeper: Nicolai Van Dellingshausen

  • Steverino01

Based on this season for me, a smart person would ignore my picks.

    WINNER: Will Z.
    FADE: Over 10K
    SLEEPERS: Phil, Power

  • qatman

The season of doom continues. I did bink an NHL short slate the other night to get back to roughly even overall for the year, so hurrah.

    Winner: Bubba Watson
Fade: Apparently all of the chalk
    Sleeper: Huh?

Going back to the Bryson well.

  • zeeshan2

Winner: John Rahm over Will Z
    Fade: Max Homa
    Sleeper: Grillo
Deeper Sleeper: Power or Flash Gordon

  • BIF

    Winner – Finau over Fleetwood
    Fade – Xander, Rahm, Hovland
    Sleeper – McCumber, Straka, Suh

  • ifthethunder

    Victor: Viktor
    Fade: Rahm
Sleeper: Already mentioned KSDT, Pat Perez, and Adam Schenk. But I see Straka is playing so I edited him into a couple.

I actually meant to say tour junkies, not fantasy national.

Yes, I don’t think they nail that very often, but I’m sticking with my fade.
