    WGC – Bridgestone Invitational

I’ll open the thread but cannot update it or post any links as I’m in a golf tournament this week and packing for a move on July 4th so I’ll trust that other posters can add relevant info about the tourney and any past winners or WD’s.

Playing 1 lineup as I cannot stay away – $33 and $3 GPP’s plus all the satellites

  • mschu1213

Smylie seems like a lock to wd at this point

  • 4Champion

Roughly 40 percent of the lineups in the $33 dogleg had either Berger or Koepka in their lineups.

5 out 6 could min cash this week

Won’t even be close to 50%. Koepka was at 23.8% in the Birdie and Berger was 16.9%.

    In Dogleg

    27.44 Koepka #1 owned
    18.39 Berger #6 most owned

So that is almost 46% and then knock off the guys who had both 5% so it’s 59% not 57%….barring no other WD’s

And all have Koepka! Too fricking funny.

About 65 of the 100 LU in Jim’s tourney have Koep or Berger. I actually got tired of counting so the 65 is a guess.

What the freaking hell is going on here!? I do one lineup this week and it has Berger/Koepka/Smylie…..good picks Cowher!

You subtract the dual owned lineup percent not add. 41% is the number

Come on Smylie think about how sick your July 4th weekend can be by not playing anymore and withdraw. Withdrawals and Jason Day are basically the only thing I’m feeling good about in my 2 doglegs.

I’m part of the lucky 5%. Would have rather been in the top 5% of the payouts, but at least I’m part of an exclusive club.

I find it funny how everyone talks about Brooks Koepka being the next young star. Lol. He’s just a frat/party boy who happens to be good at golf.

The great players in golf and all of sports share one trait, to win. They are discipline and would do anything to win. I understand Speith partied hard on SB2k15, but you can tell he is motivated and has that thirst for greatness, same for Jason Day.

Brooks enjoys golf so he can blow it on huge parties and shotgun beers with his bros.

My bad. Actually been busy at work and forgot there was no cut.

Yep, monkey see monkey do at this point. If smylie WD’s its gonna get ugly..Jordan cant play without Smiley, Justin Thomas is all up Jordans ass, Ricky would rather hang with these guys and drink umbrella drinks than shoot over par like he normally does, and Bowditch goofy looking ass is due for a WD.

Golf DFS is all about narratives and external factors. For example, I bet Dirt was pumped for this event another chance to snag a win and pocket more cash for his family.

Whereas guys like Berger and Koepka were thinking, about partying on 4th of July weekend….

  • paulrobert1989

damn wish I would have played more this week. completely faded brooks and berger except for in a couple 50/50s

Sounds like you really know Brooks on a personal level. I wish I was friends with a PGA golfer

Even if Kaufman WD’s, he will continue to hit the same amount of fairways as when he was playing……

  • JimKronlund

50k is the mininum, no one that can cash in the much higher winnings will wd, barring acceptable injuries and such.

As if no other golfer wants to win money to help their family out? It’s more along the lines of golf dfs has been a crapshoot lately

    Speith looks awful today.

    Who said this:

“I don’t quit. From when I started to play golf to today, this is the first time I’ve had to WD and it really pisses me off, to be honest with you,”

    And how about this one:

“If you’re playing in NCAAs and you’re using a pull cart please STOP! Making us golfers looks soft”

    Steven Bowditch is so bad.

That would be one mr. koepka.

  • choppadown

Furyk and Haas are killing an otherwise good lineup for me.

  • JimKronlund

Anyone else tired of Feherity’s nonstop nonsensical banter

  • dgriff

Oh well… all three of my teams had Berger or Koepka. It’s a shame as my team with Koepka had McGirt, Fowler and Rose on it who are all in the Top 2 for the moment.

  • achesley711

Need Danny Lee to step up or at least not WD. He’s killing a great lineup of mine so far…McGirt, Day, Hoffman, Hurley & Kuchar.
