Think I might single LU this week after getting so badly burned in Olympic golf last week. And EURO’s contests are poo-poo.

Am I seeing things or is the Barracuda the best prize structures in Golf this week?

What are we thinking with Si Woo after a huge letdown week?

  • deepfat

Looks like the course is playing a lot more difficult for the ladies.

I wonder, is anyone going to pick X this week?.
I am surprised that I havnt seen him showing that medal to everyone. Surprised that he is even playing. Not like he needs the money or the fedex points.

only a few more events left for him to make bank.

Kind of my thoughts too. Feel for him but he’s young. He’ll be fine.

    Working fine for me

Location problems happening to me a lot for months.
I think DK strengthened location security. Sometimes I go in an begin a deposit and it checks location, or I restart my device.

I would only do a very small handful of lineups with him. I might not be the best DFS player, lol, but I know that much about him that he goes cold for very long stretches and it’s hit and miss with him actually doing something noteworthy. What’s saving him this week is the fact it’s a no-cut event and you could get a few points off of him.

  • MrBreeze

I know 10200 sounds high, but it is the only week DJ will be on sale until the FedEx finals, I’m loading up this week.

  • BIF

I’ve said it for a couple years that this golf course should host a full field event again and not a small WGC field – low and behold, the PGA Tour just got rid of this event for next year and TPC Southwind will host the 1st Fed Ex Playoff event next year 👍.

This is a good tournament course with lots of opportunities for birdies but also lots of bogies/doubles to pay for bad shots with.

New 2021-2022 PGA Tour schedule is out and Scottish Open becomes a Fed Ex Cup points event to further the alliance being the PGA Tour and European Tour.

Why are you guys using fan duel, they are a bad company with bad people in my opinion. They have screwed players multiple time and like transparency with locked lineups and community data to ensure games are fair and on the up and up. Draftkings has gone above and beyond. I am a evangelist of getting fd to 0 users because they have screwed me many ways and never get better and treat users like total crap

  • Baseballshark2019

Said like above meant lack of transparency
In other words draft kings good, fanduel bad.

Locking in on my DK FGWC lineup. Does anyone (Sleazy, Felix?) have an entry and want to talk strategy? Happy to do it in the open here too. The structure is basically a double up with the top 100/250 move on to the next “round”.

You can tell NFL season is approaching first time Happy Meal has not filled up 24 hours before tee off outside of the expanded ones we had for the majors.

I am not in, good luck dude. Never played a contest quite like that, never even played a double up of any kind so not sure what, if anything I could offer as far as strategy. You know what to do big dog.

I’m locking Louie this week if that does anything for ya

    24 golfers across 20 LU’s.

    Winner: Phil

Worthy of mention is that the Scottish Open was one of the premier “Rolex Events” on the EURO Tour and one of the better non-major ones. The better EURO players tended to show up at them more often and they counted for more points (because the payouts were higher).

I wish I were in. You didn’t ask me but I would probably tend to play a more cash-like LU for this. Also I’d look long at the EURO guys who really take these WGC events seriously.

No Quail Hollow next year? Instead going back to Avenel Farm, site of the old Kemper Open.

Also interested to see The Summit Club for the CJ Cup. Also, back to Canada for the Canadian open finally.

I don’t have a lineup, but I always like to talk about strategy! With the contest being close to a double up, I assume it’s better to go balanced than to try to nail the winner and the punts. There are many legit options in the $7K-$9.5K range this week, and it’s easy to make a balanced lineup where all 6 guys have win equity. That’s what I would do!

I wonder if taking guys who didn’t go to the Olympics would make sense, too. They would want to prove they belong. Maybe I’m going too far.

I don’t know if they’ll be trying to “prove they belong” but they certainly will be less emotionally and physically drained than those who were in Tokyo. Ultimately, I don’t think it’s that big of deal but I am downgrading guys slightly that were in the Olympics and any tiebreakers I’m giving to non-Olympians as well.

  • byo34

Rose and Fleetwood are on the outside of the top 125 for Fed Ex standings. Scott barely in at 123.

I imagine all 3 have a bit extra motivation to have a good week. Does that mean they all play well? No it doesn’t, but it is something to think about when building lineups.
