    Hangover almost gone
Tee off in 40 minutes then I going to work on another headache at the Def Leppard/Tesla concert tonight – saw the same two bands play on the Hysteria Tour 30 years ago

This is a little off topic so hopefully I don’t get the boot for it but has anybody in here played The Golf Club on PS4?

    I play it regularly.
It is fun to play the same course that the pros are playing that week.
Its user interface (not the golf part, but the rest) is a bit confusing to me though.

I posted a picture on here once of the ridiculous outfit my golfer in there has

Anybody else have a lot of Woodland? Can’t seem to get away from him on FD. I keep telling myself that he’s close to home and he wouldn’t play in this situation if he wasn’t gonna be 100% focused on playing his best golf. Orrrrr maybe he’ll just hit a tee shot on 1 and WD lol

I have zero Woodland but 6 weeks ago I would have had 20-25%; he just hasn’t showed me much since Pebble

For actual golf, self-rating myself, I am always the worst in any group I’ve ever played with. I can’t imagine how bad it would be to play with someone worse than me.

On a scale of 1-10, where 10 is pro and 1 is the worst, 5 being reasonable, I would say I’m:
    putting 7-8
    driving 1 (prob goes negative)
    irons 5-7
normal wedges same as irons, but sand back down to 1 (just lack of practice)

I used to play a ton as a kid, but never do these days.
I could tweak my swing and club position at address and do amazing – but my dad would harp on me not to hack at my swing and instead learn the correct pure form – but these days I think I will just hack at my swing.
(eg move my hands forward in my stance with irons to go straighter and longer, and close the clubface on my driver to stop slicing)

I’m moving to Wilmington sometime this fall

I don’t live in Wilmington but visited there about 2 years ago. I loved it. Great weather, pretty laid back, seemed like a terrific retirement destination (which is why we were visiting from Boston). Found an awesome bar downtown with an amazing bourbon selection. Lot’s of golf course in the area.

Brooks gets asked what his favorite Memphis BBQ is. He answers he has his chef with him this week and BBQ is not on the menu. What a super stroke.

I have a brisket, 2 pork butts, and 6 slabs of ribs I’m cooking on Sunday.

I’m OK with people that eat healthy, but I’ve yet to hear him ever say anything complimentary about any person, place, or thing, with himself as the exception.

If I had him in my LU’s, I’d take him out immediately for talking down on BBQ.

Yeah, 2 missed cuts isn’t great and I don’t have any on DK. I just don’t see any great options around him on FD. I’d go up to Casey or Webb, but I already have a ton of both and can’t afford without changing a lot. Down would be going to Hatton, Chez or RCB. Don’t love it.

These late starts are horrible for tinkeritis. Most tournaments start before I wake up so it’s not an issue. This one however…… I just keep looking at my lineups and thinking “I don’t have enough Paul Casey” for no reason in particular.

My baseball step leading into the swing isn’t nearly as dramatic. Just a small step like a baseball swing. LOL!

“Super dick” leaps to mind about Koepka

I love brisket, and just this 4th of July I cooked pork ribs on the grill for the first time. They came out decent. Trick was indirect heat and avoiding flame whenever possible, then blasting on direct heat to get crust. Marinated them for several hours in wet rub.

Brisket I am 100% a dry rub guy over indirect heat. Charcoal, never gas, over pool of steam. Starting to get OK at making that for my family.
