Pretty good article from Golf Channel about Lowry:

    https://www.golfchannel.com/news/2019-british-open-doubts-drinks-inside-shane-lowrys-victorious-open-sunday?utm-tags=golf1304000&mi_u=69F8DC85-C60C-4896-B512-B2B6A0F997FC

Last sentence really makes it though.

A member of his inner circle was asked what was in store for the rest of the evening. “We’re driving down to Dublin,” he said, “and we’re going to f—-ing party.”

    I have 70 – 70! – on the entire season. 130 away from achievement 7.

Part of the reason for this is I do a heavy risk/reward. In the last 3 weeks, 2 weeks I went 100% of one guy and they MC, so that’s 0 6/6. The third was last week’s Carnage Week where I went 100% Rahm but punts like Oliver Wilson didn’t pan out and I ended up with 1/40 6/6. 1 6/6 in 3 weeks. Not great.

What’s funny is that for the alternate event last week I threw a lineup in there as an afterthought just to keep fresh. Whadaya know… a 6/6… LOL

Haha that’s pretty good. I did the same thing this past week, not great for me either.
Made 3 LU’s that I had in a few contests… 2 of them I figured were my better LU’s and entered them in the bigger $3 and $4 contest. Both went 4/6 and didn’t cash.
My 3rd LU, deemed to be the ‘worst’ LU of course was 6/6. Still in a bunch of smaller contests (good for the 6/6 achievement), but not in the $3 or $4. So, instead of making a small profit or almost breaking even, I think I went $31 in $15 out, something like that. I don’t normally enter that much in weekly though and should not have as both of the last Majors I haven’t done very well. I normally play on the smaller side of the scale.

As for the 6/6 Achievement, I have 134 on the season. I’m not sure if the 7th is the final level for this one.

How about High-Fiver? I have 204/345 on the 8th level for that one. Not sure if there’s enough time left this season for me to hit that one, but I hope so. Last week’s 0 Top-5 finishers didn’t help!

How can anyone dislike Shane Lowry, man? I had zero shares of him, publicly questioned his mental fortitude, and damn if I’m not smiling at these celebrations. He’s such a man of the people – the polar opposite of Broosky Clenchka.

Wolff should be middle of the pack (or just under) so he’ll be in mid-7K’s

    Wolff – $7,500

I can’t even begin to guess his ownership but super f**king high is what I’m guessing.

Phil at $7,300, what a fall he has had this year.

I’m hoping Woodland is over his hangover, because I love him here at 8,100

  • sfguy21

Alright, I have my biggest payroll to work with this week and a ticket to the $260 FGWC satty. Really hoping to snag one of those tickets and make something good out of this otherwise mediocre season.

  • hbomb57

So does Koepka make a statement this week or is it back to the norm until the next major or the Fedex Championship.

  • byo34

4 days of Keith on Bermuda for only 6500. I’m in!

If you don’t like the no-cut event this week, you can save it for the last full field event next week.

One bit of strategy might be to save it with the thought that some of the pros won’t play next week as possible some of them win this week and max out on their 6-max FGWC tickets. Just a thought if you don’t love your lineup this week or that it is no cut.

Careful with Woodland as him and his wife are expecting a baby anytime now. I read an article dated the 17th that the due date was roughly 2 weeks.

Love that price on Killa Keith. Bermuda and ballstriking has me on Corey Conners at 6,300 as well. You plug in those two in the no-cut and load up with the other 4.

Yea, that’s a good call. I’ll definitely consider that as I build out my LUs this week.

I was in a tournament most of the weekend so didn’t get a chance to catch up on the forum. Did you have a solid bounce back week from your recent slump?

Yah made about $600 profit – none of my lineups were real great but cashed a good portion of them and my 5/6 H2H LU had Fleetwood and won over 90% of my games.

Good call. I forgot about that. Can’t have some stupid kid mess things up for me.

FYI, 2018 when it was the St Jude, the cut was +1.. 2017, 2016 and 2015 it was +2,

Looks like DK replaced the $5 Drive the Green with a $10 contest this week.
