is #2 11400. If Brooks is Mr. Major. DJ is Mr. WGC. He has great WGC history and he has great TPC Southwind history.

    Yah….but DJ sucks right now

He fired his swing coach a couple months ago then hired him back last week and was working with him on the range at Portrush. I’m thinking his problems right now run a little deeper than “he’ll be ok as this is a WGC”.

    DJ at The Open:
DJ hit 43% of fairways, field average was 50% and somehow Westwood hit 93% !!!

DJ hit 50% of greens in regulation, field average was 55.5% and Molinari hit 89% !!

Concerning to me that DJ was below the field average on these two key stats on a course where hitting fairways and hitting greens were crucial to scoring.

Interesting tweet from Kyle Porter (golf writer for CBS Sports) today:

Score to par at 2019 majors for those who made all four cuts.

    Koepka: -36
    Xander: -14
    DJ: -14
    Cantlay: -12
    Webb: -9
    Molinari: -9
    Kuchar: -8
    Fowler: -7
    Fitzpatrick: -3
    Spieth: -2
    Oosty: -1
    Stenson: E
    Fleetwood: +3
    Wise: +3
    Hatton: +5
    Cam Smith: +20

Not sure which one is more impressive between Koepka and Cam Smith!

I’m at 125/200 on the 6/6; when is the finish line for these achievements?

Achievements run for 5 more weeks (end of Tour Championship) but the 6/6 through the cut achievement only has 2 weeks left as this week is a no-cut event; the Wyndham next will count then only the 1st playoff event (Northern Trust) is a cut event (125 down to 70& ties) – after that it is a no cut 70 player BMW Championship and a no cut 30 player Tour Championship.

I’m really liking Sneds this week. 7400, no cut and shot a 62 here last year.

He found his way into my Happy meal LU. Also being back home in Tennessee has got to be a plus.

Forum i need your help. I have the week off.

    Do i:

    A) drive to Memphis ?

    B) Value my safety?

I dunno, there’s a lot to like about a pissed off DJ in a no-cut event looking to reclaim the No. 1 OWGR spot

  • kps3205s

I understand Keith Mitchell is cheap and loves him some Bermuda but what has me concerned since I have seen this twice when I rostered him was Sunday scoring so I looked it up.

130th on Tour in Round 4 scoring and final round scoring average.

7 of the 13 cuts he has made he shot over par on Sunday per the PGA’s website. 14th cut is the team event which doesn’t show anything.

Is he more for the MME player than a 1 or 2 LU guy like myself this week in a no cut event? Feel free to opine.

Look at some of the names right around him or worse and you might not put much stock in that.

Being from TN myself, trust me when I say that we don’t consider Memphis as “Tennessee”.

Isn’t that exactly what he did last year? He needed to win at that same tournament to take back #1?

Bored on a Monday so i threw a MLB LU in about 5 minutes before lock – I rarely get the pitchers right but today I hit the nuts on them

Cole 11K’s, 1 run and only a couple hits allowed for 37.95
Nova throws a Complete Game for 31.75

Almost 70 points from the pitchers is nice 😂

BIF, you sure there’s still qualifiers for the FGWC next week? The sattys are listed at Last Shot, which leads me to believe this is it.

  • titanhawks

There are 200 seats for the FGWC and I’m seeing # 170 to #190 this week so looks like they are saving the last ten for next week

I was wondering if anyone else cared to share where they are in the golf achievements.

I have been maxed out on birdies for a Looooomg time.
6/6 was my biggest stumbling block and up until a few weeks ago. LFN’s 70 was kicking my ass. Now I have a whopping total of 89/200(for 2.8 crowns).
BOFR in showdown, I am at 295/340 (for 2K crowns)
T5 golfer in classic is 1350/1800 (for 9k crowns)

3 weeks ago, I started playing the dime contests with a purpose. To get the achievements and go to platinum level. Now I do think I am an asshole to spend money to get DK crowns but….it was like $20 a week. I noticed I am not the only bozo spending money for the achievements. Its kind of a personal status thing for me. The biggest jump up in achievements has been the T5 for me. in 3 weeks I have added abt 800. lost a bunch of money on DK, had a couple of non min cashes and a bunch of min cashes and 0 tix won in the dime qualifiers.

    How you all doing?

I’m not intentionally playing or looking for achievements but just playing my usual and taking them as they come

Just collected 200 crowns for Clean 18 #5 and 25 crowns for Weekend Honors #2 today

    season long I’m 34/53

    Cut Maker #6 51/65
    Ironman 1 18/23
    High Fiver 8 224/345
    Clean 18 #6 30/50
    Weekend Honors 3 2/4

Maxed out Weekly Golfer, Birdie Machine and Ace

how will it effect my daily bonus and daily missions?

It shouldn’t affect your missions at all. I’m platinum for the 1st time this month and have been less than enthused since there are still days of 85 & 100 crowns. Don’t get me wrong you get some DK dollars (one $5, some $2/$3, and some $1) but it’s the crowns thing that kind of pisses me off. At least give us something worthwhile.

I know I shouldn’t complain too much but I believe these “achievements” have effected the monthly tiers now that more are hitting them.

Oh and as for my golf achievements, I’m not chasing (unless I’m close on the next milestone), I’m at:

    High-Fiver – 305/345 for level 8
    Cut Maker – 56/65 for level 6
    Clean 18 – 66/95 for level 7
Weekend Honors (Boo this one!!!) – 0/1 as I rarely try for this one
Birdie Machine – level 10 complete (easiest one for us guys here)

I think I can move a “level” up on all of them but probably not anything after that.

A few notes from my one cheap site I pay for ICYMI:

TPC Southwind played to a 70.520 average and the 11th toughest course on the PGA Tour in 2018.

For the last eight years, it’s been top 15 on the list of toughest courses of the year.

TPC Southwind ranked the 10th hardest course on the PGA Tour in 2018 to hit fairways.

In the last seven years the lowest it’s ever been to hit fairways was 11th in 2017 and in 2014.

In 2018 59.30% of the greens were hit as it ranked 5th toughest on the PGA Tour. In 2017 55.68% of the greens were hit as it ranked the 6th hardest on tour. Over the course of the last eight years, it’s been ranked in the top 9 hardest on tour.

One putt percentage, TPC Southwind ranked 45th last year and in 2017 while it was 47th in 2016.

Birdie average last year it ranked 10th, in 2017 it ranked T-10th, it was 14th in 2016, and 2015 was 11th.

    Birdie average was 3.27 last year, 3.11 in 2017, 3.16 in 2016 and 3.15 in 2015.

    Hope this helps.

I love my lineup already on Yahoo…. I said this last week and only ended up winning 2 dollars as well. I like JT to win this week. I had Lowry to win last week which saved me from taking a loss.

  • kps3205s

I am assuming Shane Lowry has or is withdrawing this week???
