$25 contest this week looking a little light for the night before a tourney. Still about 18k entries short

  • Arbond

I“m an early riser, so I enjoy getting up early each morning for a better chance at overlays. With a 12noon start tomorrow, not much chance of that!

I’m debating on doing the Milly Maker for golf. I’m already doing it for basketball (I won most of those entries). I’m not so sure about golf. Should I go in for the kill?

  • Arbond

Well, there isn’t a Milly Maker this week, so…

Is the X fade just for ownership or do you not like him here?

A little of both – his history isn’t great here and I like at least 4 guys around him more.

Watching my NHL Jets play for the first time since March feels so weird not to mention playing in an empty arena is strange. Tonight is only an exhibition/warm-up game but still weird to have hockey on in late July.

  • Event21Horizon

Same for me with the Caps earlier today, it is like a part of me is back.

Before I looked at his recent form, I was going to say he has not looked great since the return but he has been pretty decent – he just has not had much TV time since the Schwab.

I don’t hate the play – just hard to play everyone especially when I’m only playing half my normal load as it’s a no-cut event.

Looking forward to the next 4-5 days, besides the WGC/DFS starting tomorrow, I’m playing golf Thurs afternoon and then I have our 54-hole club championship Sat-Mon (it’s a holiday up here on Monday so it’s also a long weekend) plus I get 2 Jets play-in games to watch (and other around the clock hockey on TV plus the 2 diff PGA golf tournies to watch with the WGC and the Barracuda in Reno).

Fair. Yeah I had him at The Memorial and told myself then I was playing him in his next event after how he bounced back from the first round 78. I just hate that he’s getting talked up so much since that always seems to be the kiss of death.
