Ugh can these no cut tourneys on the other side of the world go away already?

  • BIF

Hoping that DK does the alternate field Bermuda event as well; I’ve played that Port Royal GC a few times. The field is super weak and it is probably going to be a birdie fest as course is short but it has a couple incredible ocean views and worth watching – so hopefully DK gives us a reason to watch.

  • geniusjt4

Definitely focused on the alternate field this week if there is one.
Past Tiger winning in the middle of the night, I’m infinitely exhausted with no cut tournaments, minimal to no course history, and no shot tracker.
A lot of the time this already feels like a lottery, but the last two weeks have just felt like throwing money blindly into the cosmos.
Give me my Lanto Griffin back. Please.

  • BrianVT

Phil has won here twice, Bubba once. Any other lefties qualified this week? Brian Harman didn’t make the cut.

  • Pbasniper

Hope we get an alt field event because Spike McRoy just made the field at Bermuda and I need to play him on name alone.

I’m kind of interested in Neil Schietekat in this WGC, though.

Schietekat is a straight-hitting South African that has been on the cusp of the EURO Tour, did surprisingly well this year. I’m not sure he’ll be on my final team or teams

  • MonkeraiKnight

Guess I’ll roll Sergio out for the third week in a row and hope for something better. Made some money using Tiger last week, could have been a lot more if Woodland could have found anything on the weekend.

Finau for the bounce back, and liking the idea of Rose. Will have to see what the ownership numbers look like.

  • lfn1992

I’d just like to say that last week I put Tiger in my initial build, then took him out for Finau. I should have stuck to the Portugal Open.

lol, IMHO……no euro but it is NFL season. World Series in action, CFB heating up, plus all the other sports. DK wont have a Bermuda event.
The Golf Channel will still show you the pretty sites. Looks to be a perfect weekend of weather in Bermuda.

It’s still a PGA Tour event – just the lesser guys who didn’t get into the WGC so there is hope.

They are sure taking their time with WGC pricing today…..

  • titanhawks

This WGC-HSBC is really more of a EURO event so the Bermuda should be the PGA event of the week

WGC pricing finally is up; no surprises anywhere

I was a bit surprised by the pricing and field.
Not at the most expensive salaries but at the 6100-6900 area. There is where you see the Euro tour pro’s. I found it interesting that many of them were not around the last few weeks in Asia. They start the year end playoffs next week, and the money for this event is counted to euro tour earnings 2020. So I surmise a jump in the standings for the year is better than preparations for round one of the playoffs next week.

I still feel the average PGA player is superior to the Euro tour average player. The money and placement in this event seems to bring out the best in these Euro players. At least they still scratch and fight on Sat and Sun (IMHO) better than the PGA players who are ostensibly out of it at that point.

So….some great value in the low 6K’s

  • titanhawks

I’m gonna be like 90% Euro guys this week I think except for Schauffele and maybe Reed

  • titanhawks

nmanci13 is the only one in the under 8K; hope he gets the message and reads the title of the game for the clue

hope he sends me a check lol

I sent him a DK invite and used the note at the bottom to message him. but who ever reads that shit? maybe if many people send him something he might read 1. I am going to send him another H2H in golf this week and try again……..Anyone else want to try. make sure to use the note at the bottom of the invite. Interested if anyone else has an idea to flag this guy down.

nmanci13 is not connected to anyone on RG, maybe he doesnt even read any of the thread or log in.

  • titanhawks

    Bermuda contests are up

I didn’t see the note before when I have sent invites before Tim; I’ll try that

  • titanhawks

I tried it and of course it does not work

sends me to customer service and we all know how that begins and ends lol

Edit; Saw what I did wrong; invite and message sent

  • lfn1992

28 dollars of fees for a 300 crown bonus, lol really DK?

  • lfn1992

    Yay, Bermuda contests!

If you were waiting to spend 9700 on Mark Hubbard in your LU, now is your chance

  • ilayup

Is Adam Scott hurt or something? Seems odd to be down there… and below Spieth again.

    On a side note:

Gary McCord and Peter Kostis are not returning to CBS golf as their contracts were not renewed. I didn’t know Kostis was Paul Casey’s swing coach.

Is there any reason why despite this being a WGC event a lot of the top American players are not playing? Yet pretty much every top European player and other International players are all playing.

Pretty much the only top guys missing are the top Americans.

  • titanhawks

As I said above this is a EURO event

DJ and Brooks getting ready for Halloween according to golfchannel
