Gotta love no cuts! English who would have missed the cut any other week now able to go -3 on his front 9 to get to even par for the week.

Happy to see English picking it back up…was worried he was starting to lose that 2020 form after the last few MCs and short time off

Cant complain too much cuz he beat hughes h2h in R2 for me but yeeeeshhh is this guy Macintyre overrated…some euro experts have him like top5 euro tour player lol…this guy cant even hold matt wallace’s jockstrap, I don’t want to hear this guys name again until he can top20 on this side of the pond, should’ve went to the PRO this week instead lmao

    - also dont want to hear any pga tour jitters excuses, he got like 3-4 events in 2020, bombed em all

LMAO, these euro guys (not the PGA regulars) have never done well as core roster spots. Most to me are salary savers with potential. If I was a single entry person, I wouldnt touch them. If they are newer to the events like WCG, I hope I find the future PGA Tour Pro. The jitters excuse is real to me. I believe the euro tour is in trouble, just look at the prize pool reductions and the event reductions due to covid. If Golf is a career they want to pursue….Its WGC and PGA that will do it.

    Where’s the Beef

Yes but there are definitely some euro guys that can compete on the highest levels and demand respect (not just the ones that have made USA home already). Like when you have Pieters, Wallace, Li tee it up, you see the talent and potential and they demand some respect. All I’ve heard is noise about Macintyre, and I’m just not getting the buzz. He’s not a long hitter, he doesn’t stick it close, and he’s not a great putter. My point is its disrespectful to put his name in the same group of euro guys (2nd tier even) that have performed at the highest of levels when all hes done is disappoint. DK clearly gave him alot of respect with that $7400 tag, like in no world should he ever be priced higher than a big game hunter like Matty Wallace, but I bet if Wallace was in the wgc field theyd probably be close if not same salary.

    I love the Kuch!

just to follow up, who are the last 12 on the leaderboard and where did they come from? remember Asian tour, Sunrise tour, and aussie tour guys exempted would most likely be Euro tour members. while South American tour would probably be Korn Ferry.

    Edit to piggy back
granted some players are great on any given Sunday. McIlroy, Garcia, Stenson, Niemann the entire European Ryder Cup team.
And guys you mentioned as well as guys in this WGC, have potential. LMAO, dont mention Wallace this week, failed to play the weekend on an easy event. but looking at the overall history of WCG events as a group, the non PGA euro players were/are a bad bet.

Mac is young, he has had some good results, I dont normally play Korn Ferry Guys getting exemptions either. I am defending him, I think he has potential.

    Eagle streak from the Deej.

Loads of him in Weekend and Showdown, plus I have him in a H2H I am losing in to a guy who played Cantlay.

Happy I am part of the 1.28% that picked Simsby in the DK Showdown. Hole in one baby!
