Bolton put the fade on him

It may have been you that brought his fades to my attention. I religiously follow them now. It’s rare when he isn’t dead on.

80 in and 540 out, I feel bad about the jinx because as soon as I hit enter…..BOOM. I had hopes of even a better week if 1 or 2 out of the 3, played good enough to get it.

    Nice week 👍
I had the same “out” but was in for about 400

He has great course analysis too (which I never noticed before under his power rankings).

    Great stuff.

Collin was a stone-cold killa out there today. This was not a course where sitting on a lead coming down the stretch was easy.

Actually reminded me of his major win at PGA where he just hit a lot of greens on the back nine (of course he hit the great driver tight on the short par 4 at PGA) but he just hit solid shot after solid shot – makes it a lot easier to make pars when you are putting for bird.

Morikawa hit it great last week at Riviera but putting was off for long stretches and now he comes to a Nicklaus (second shot) course – he was a must play for me; I didn’t go 100% but well over 50%. He has been slowly rounding back into form after a bit of flat stretch after winning the PGA – I few like we talked about that a few weeks ago on the forum but maybe it wasn’t you.

I think we did talk about him. His last two finishes in the 50s doesn’t really jump out as good form, but he did start playing better before that. I think I’ve just come to not like him, so probably just a bad gut feel decision on my part. I think last week I said he’s the ultimate FOMO play, and will probably always be that, at least for me.

Yah that’s normal, I have a few guys I don’t like and have a hard time clicking on their name – I’m getting better at blindly clicking them now but I know I never played English for at least 1.5 years until last fall (and kinda wish I didn’t click him this week 🙄).

You do you man. It should all be about having fun. 99.9% of people who say they are a successful gambler haven’t been doing it for very long. Easy come, easy go. There’s a reason you see 1-800-GAMBLER numbers on every fantasy platform…as well as at the bottom of this page ;-)

Money, you’re a salty loser and the reason I will never make another post on this forum nor will I even lurk. So long boize

You doing well or not doing well doesn’t affect me in the least. That’s not my issue with you.

No reason for you to leave. I’m good just avoiding one another and will make this the last post that quotes one of your’s. Done and done.

Mainly just from DFS standpoint. He pretty much sucked after winning that major, so kind of seemed like one hit wonder for awhile. The golf press gets behind some up and comers, sells them as a product, and just hope they pan out. Hasn’t worked well for Wolff. I think Morikawa is a good person, but still don’t like to play him.

Ahh…I get that. Oddly, I pretty much never get Webb Simpson right. I could just always play him, but I would hate to ruin the man’s career.

Yes, he can be a struggle too. Matsuyama also. There’s plenty that don’t always come through, but I can’t help playing them when my data says to.

You can find quite a few in this tournament who you’d think would have played a lot better, but we’re only talking about the ones who came through for people. Basically just golf in a nutshell.

  • RudyPujols

    Two final thoughts from me:

    1. I hope Gamez plays Bay Hill next week. It’s the best chance we have for SmallAndFlaccid to pop in with some one-liners.

    2. Brooks Koepka looks poised for his first Green Jacket in April.

  • RudyPujols

And on the Gamez issue, I see that he polished up his form at the Cologuard in Tucson this week. Tied for next to DFL with a +14, 6 shots worse than Jon Smoltz. He could legitimately shoot in the 90s at Bay Hill.

Decent day today to cap off a roughly even week on MKF. Rahm made a few too many birdies in round 4 to sink some killer 5/5 bets for the full weekend.

If we break apart the MKF conversation, I’m not sure how much it makes sense to participate, but whatever. I’m not sure I want to be posting in a public forum in an obvious spot. “They” might start watching more closely if we do.

    Amen to your last point

I had a break even day (thanks Hov) but ended up with a nice profit from week long. Onto the next one.

They were talking about Rob Bolton on PGA Tour website – he does a lot of their fantasy write ups and he is also active on Twitter updating people with WDs and field changes.

@mhwhatever it is. Thanks for posting things like “morikawa wet” on Thursday makes this even sweeter

If your referring to me check the post history, I never said anything in regards to Morikawa this week. In fact I was over the field on him, so don’t catch me in the crossfire 🐸☕️

What was the PGA thinking, getting rid of the colors on their leaderboard? Who do we contact to get them back?

tbh, Rob Bolton responds to just about any tweet or DM you send him. I asked him why the PGA got rid of their media site a while back (had a bunch of data that was easy to navigate and copy/paste) and he responded really quickly. That’s who he works for, after all.
