I’m just saying, he has a history of getting behind the wheel while under the influence. Might not have happened with someone else driving the car.

Could have something to do with trusting someone to hide what he’s up to?

With this Tiger news, I think I’ll be reducing my exposure to JT, looks pretty torn up in his interview today.

Could be detrimental to his game this week

  • Straightfire118

Tiger was stoned af in that interview with Nantz it was blatant.

Nantz was like…Tiger didn’t sound too optimistic about being back for the Masters. No shit Jim…Tiger didn’t sound like he had any idea what day it was.

Didn’t know his ex wife was in California as well.

She was trying to take care of unfinished business.

  • mitchsnyderdfw

She does have a point here

I agree Tiger didnt look all there in the Sunday interview. dont know if meds or self medicating. He knows back surgery, so he was still dealing with that. Unfortunately for him he has a bad history concerning these things…not gonna judge him just yet. It appears his PGA career is over. Hope he makes it back for some Senior Tour event in the future.

Both legs broken. In surgery now. Doesn’t sound good.

Wow, these 2 events have got me working like a madman. Just finished formating and sorting my evaluations sheet.
    1) WGC, using all WGC events since 2019, CJ CUP, ZoZo, majors, a couple of other courses that are closer to par finishes.
    2) PRO, using 2021 events, all secondary contests since 2019.

kinda interesting who is playing in what event. No Jordan Spieth, first time out of WGC for Fowler, a bunch of Euro guys that NEED to kick it in gear if they want to keep their ranking in top 50 (because IMHO, this or next is the last time they can maintain that with the event and purse cuts in Euro Tour).

not the greatest method to evaluate but I feel OK with it. Looking for the landmines and that is purely subjective.

oof could have been worse at least

  • Straightfire118

Tiger had to be driving under the influence crashing the way he did.

I’m not judging him either. The dude is seriously messed up in the head and still a child in many ways. His parents really did a number on him. I hope we never see him again actually. His best bet is to just completely remove himself from anything related to professional golf and just disappear.

I’m landing on some Kuchar. 6400 no cut can get hot with the putter and approach with forced layups for possibly one round and I have to think he has some familiarity with this course with his Florida familiarity.

Yessir Kuchar for 6400 count me in.

I’m a sucker for the potential of Rasmus Hojgard! He’s my euro guy this week, and he has been playing well recently…

Did you guys see pictures of Tigers vehicle? WOW, a true miracle he is alive. The Highlander looks like it hit a wall at a high rate of speed, the stub rails are gone, and they’re high strength steel! Engine and trans shifted completely under the vehicle. I really don’t think he is out of the woods yet, most likely some serious torso and neck injuries to go along with the legs. Golf is not in his immediate or even mid range future.

Def going to need more pain meds.

as soon as I heard about the nature of Tiger’s accident, i automatically thought about Hogan.. both smashed the front end of the car and suffered severe leg trauma (Hogan hit a tractor trailer).. Hogan came back after nearly dying, don’t count Tiger out..

So, here is an interesting tidbit. For those of you that thought Tiger looked high on Sunday, here is an alternate explanation. Tiger has bad seasonal allergies, especially to Eucalyptus. The course is loaded with Eucalyptus trees, the guy had all the tell tale signs of allergic reaction, puffy eyes, tired look etc. and that’s all there was to that.

  • badtrip

I feel for him. I hope it’s just one leg that’s bad. My break was hell for several months, still feel the plate and screws.

I already spent 1/2 of what I’m spending on my Reed bet. I was hoping to get a feel for the course by listening to interviews before I make lineups, but I don’t expect to hear much from the players now,

  • badtrip

A guy from from LA Times just said shattered ankle, compound fracture, and both legs broke. It’s going to be a rough recovery.

I like him as well, but these kind of plays never work out for me.
