This topic is subjective but I m curious what people think. What percentage of
being successful in DFS is 1. statistical analysis and research 2. instinct and
intuition 3. strategy and systems 4. luck

Lmao thats just do to variance, there was a point in time Saahil was the best and Awesomo and youdacao sucked and than 3 years later you will come to me and say Saahil is the best and awesomo and youdacao suck.

All i’m saying is saahil was just like awesomo and youdacao at one point. What could have possibly changed skillwise since than? Awesomo and youdacao got better? Better at what exactly? If i understand correctly saahil devotes his whole life to this what edge do awesomo and youdacao have over saahil.

And also his site rotoql has barely improved, pretty sad.

You do realize people’s skills can change right? There was one point in time Dwayne Wade was a top 5 NBA player too.

Youdacao and Awesomeo never sucked. They were consistently in the top 10. So your point doesn’t make sense.

Saahil was never as good as them in total ROI (he was closer than now obviously) and once his greatest asset (his computer science skill as in able to mass edit) was taken away from him with the CSV edit we saw his downfall.

Skills change dude and the environment changes. It has nothing to do with max entering.

If you believe that like I said go max enter the QA where none of the pros are allowed to play in and tell me how much you make.

Welp, I disagree but I respect what you say. I’m going to hit and run dfs.

Also does saahil only play on fanduel now or he has stopped in general?

Ok that’s fine. I’m ok we disagree. That’s just my opinion. I respect your opinion too. I do believe there’s a lot of luck too but not as much luck as you make it out to seem. Also like I said I don’t think volume really affects ROI. But it’s cool I respect your opinion.

For the second point he pretty much only plays on FD from what I know. Prior to yesterday, I haven’t seen him on DK for almost a full month now and even before he was lowering his DK volume. He didn’t play the MM in the past 2 weeks for sure maybe longer. He did have 1 entry yesterday in the MM. Only 1 entry (supporting my volume argument) and it was the first time I saw him on DK in almost a month. You can also check the results on his profile here. I also have my own spreadsheets. He only had 1 entry yesterday probably because he realizes he’s not good and can’t just waste 3k a week on MM entries.

Even when he was playing before he was losing money. Because DK allows csv export of contests, people’s ROIs are very transparent. I doubt he’s winning on FD (although not sure) either if he’s so bad on DK but he probably isn’t losing as much.

You can just go to ResultsDB yourself this week and see that the majority of max entry guys in the MM on DK this week lost money so that’s why I don’t think volume means much. A lot of them are still +ROI over the long run for the calendar year unlike Saahil though. His website is really misleading people with the #1 player and all that stuff when it’s not even true. For people that use the website and lose money I wonder if they can get their money back due to false advertising…

That’s interesting i didnt know saahil was poo poo, he does a good job marketing himself/winning 50k on dk while playing lou will vs the jazz and having him drop 60 dfs points.

Also, you seem like a smart guy. I don’t want to play versus people like you. I’m gone with the wind.

His site sucks though. Maybe he struggles with DK because of that 2 player rule? Or does he just use his own personal lineup generator.

No I’m a losing player. I’m also taking a break. I think most people lose in the long run.

That’s why it’s a game of skill. If it wasn’t the same players wouldn’t keep winning.
