Lets say I have 1000 dollars. I want to spend 100 dollars a day. Should I enter 1 100 dollar 50/50 game or should I enter 20 5 dollar head to head using the same lineup?

People will tell you to spread it across as many H2Hs as possible. So I think people would say to enter like 50 $2 H2Hs….. From my experience, I have had mostly sharks scoop up my games and I have a terrible ROI on cash games… But maybe your experience will be different

Also people would probably tell you to not spend all $100 in cash games and to throw some $ towards a tournament like $10 or $20 or $30 because on the off chance you have a really huge night you can possibly spike a GPP. Scoring a 99th percentile lineup in H2H is still only going to get you so much while scoring a 99th percentile lineup in a GPP can net you thousands of dollars.

My actual advice to you would be to play what you want to play and do what you want to do. Have you tracked results at all? Do you know what you are good at vs not? If you are a brand new player, having never played before, I wouldn’t put 10% of my bankroll in play until I know what I am doing….. All those bankroll management advice articles assumes you are an above average player… A bad player can lose 10% of their bankroll every night and be broke within a week or two…. I have been there when I first started.

Avoid cash games entirely. Also, I would not be playing $100 a day with a $1000 roll. I’d be playing between $30-$50 a day max. If you are confident in your lineup construction, I’d be playing as many 3 max entry contests as possible with that $50 or if you are really confident in your lineup construction, I’d play a combo of single entry and 3 max. If you are new or want to improve your lineup construction, I’d max enter the $1 contest (50 max) or even the $.25 (50 max).

I would enter the 100 man tourneys at all different buy in levels no more than 1-3 entries per contest and no more than $30 to $50 per day. I would stay with that until i was confident enough in my lineup building process to enter the smaller buy in GPP’s. Be Patient, have a plan and stick to it. I am primarily a GPP player and this method worked for me.

Not playing at all would be the best for your bankroll. Very few are good enough to build a bankroll these days. You can be a very good DFS player and still lose money. Hitting on a GPP is your best bet and even those chances are slim. Just trying to be real with you.

If I had to choose. Just go with GPP’s and no more than 3 to 5% (the lower the better) of your bankroll each day. You need to stretch it out, because you will have losing streaks and you need to give yourself as many opportunities as possible to win a GPP.

Id do 30 $3 h2h and limit the opponent to 1 per contest and do $10 in gpps

Alluminum can collecting seems to help. Or making the line ups later so you dont have as much time to believe in them as much.
