Just curious, as I think these are kind of fun… what is your DK experience level? I’m 42. I would imagine high-roller players are what, like level 3,400?

  • hautalak

Just got to 51 “Superstar”… must mean a Superstar of fleecing money and playing as many quarters as possible.

  • Olhausen

I’m a 56! This reminds me how much I wish RG would upgrade their rankings system to actually count every single contest played. The rankings system now is no where close to accurate.

    level 59

I’ve been on this level ever since they started the XP I think

  • flip4flop

54 which means I spent way too much money.

  • squidkill

same just hit 51. do these levels have much of a point? and the badge system is pretty outdated seems like everyone has 3 stripes. maybe the level would be a better indication of who you are playing.

No point since they’re not publicly viewable.

I agree that the 3 stripes is a bad indicator, although it took me forever to get it!!!

54…. and yeah i mean it takes 31,000 XP points to go from level 53 to 54…. i dont know exactly what that means…. but im guessing it only takes like 10 points to go from level 1 to level 2….

im guessing its partially to get people addicted to gambling, but moreso that it gives them a way to monitor who to give freebies and stuff to

Experience Points (XP) are awarded to your account for every contest entry you complete on DraftKings. The amount of XP your account earns determines your account’s level. Levels are an easy way to show off how much you have played on DraftKings. At every tenth level, you’ll earn a new badge to showcase your level.

XP and Level is a personal measurement of engagement and activity that is not publicly viewable, it is not a measurement of skill or success.

Separately we also provide Experience Badges. Users who’ve earned an experience badge are not eligible to enter beginner or casual contests. However, if a player earns a badge after contest entry, they will remain in the contest.

    Experience Badges: https://www.draftkings.com/experience-badges
    DraftKings Rewards: https://www.draftkings.com/lp/draftkings-rewards

it gives them a way to monitor who to give freebies and stuff to

We have plans for the future that will someday help us provide even more rewards. There is a method to our madness!!!! ;-)

I wish this were true. Live in an area where driving distance to about 13 teams is less than 2.5 hours and have never gotten one offer or freebie to attend anything despite dumping a ton from as long as I can remember when buddies who have joined and spent way less and barely play have gotten them.

They are completely meaningless) As the CS pointed out they are solely based on games played (I.e. – money spent) and are not influenced at all by result. If you finish first or last you get the same xp.
I thought it was cool when it was initially rolled out, then I saw how it works and got bummed, as an actual system hat rewarded and gave some representation to skill level/production would be cool and potentially worth tracking.

And to answer the thread question – 51

You do get more XP for high finishes vs. being dead last so this isn’t 100% true. However I agree with you in that this system is totally meaningless as for a small dollar contest you might get 10 XP for a dead last finish and 40 XP for a top 1% finish. So a guy who reserves 10 lineups and leaves them blank would out earn someone who finished top 100 in the same contest on a single entry.

RG’s ranking system is the same way where money spent / massive volume will shoot you up the leaderboard way more than crushing lower buy in single entry tournaments.

Experience Levels will make more sense in the coming year once we have the opportunity to roll out more rewards opportunities. Eventually we will reward players when they hit significant Experience Level milestones. Pretty cool eh?

Considering 99 is the highest Level you are not at Level 350 – It’s the number inside the shield/badge not how many XP you have.

    I’m a “MVP” and am at Level 60 🙄
