Looking to get a real leg up on my idiot friends this baseball season. I’ve loved Rotogrinders since I found it in 2014, but for season long leagues what is your favorite site? There are so many these days. Which ones are worth paying for when it comes to draft prep, etc? Thanks for any ideas!

That’s helpful. Thanks, pal. It would be incredible, one time, to actually be able to post a legit question without jerks you don’t even know getting sarcastic.

A few of my preferred season long sites that I would recommend – BaseballHQ, Mastersball and RotoWire.

BaseballHQ is the most intensive and it takes a little while to figure out their language, but they do a great job of teaching you the process behind the stats, along with articles on team news, prospects, draft strategy, etc. I would say if you’re willing to spend some time with it, this is probably my favorite site.

Mastersball is the place I would go first if you’re looking for projections. If I had to just go into a draft with no prep, and wanted to print off a sheet to draft from, this is what I would use. Less heavy on articles, more heavy on science.

RotoWire is a little bit of both. More user-friendly site. They have projections, draft sheets and all that, but they also have, in my opinion, the best stable of writers who are also proven season long players.

A couple other things that everyone can look at are both baseballhq and rotowire, along with the Fangraphs Sleeper and the Bust are all free podcasts that you can find on itunes that have really good season long info.
