So I am a Software Engineer by trade, and actually happen to love python. I spent a good amount of time building up retrieval for historical data, automate current playing.. and was happy as a clam doing that for a week or two
Now I’m pretty much done that, and realized thats the easy part, now I have to actually figure out how to generate winning models to consistently win.
Obviously noone wants to give away secrets, but if any players that do well have any tips on how to get started generating effective models, or really any general advice? Should I be focused on regression solvers? More semantic analysis? Strictly Quantitative? Finding my self a little lost!
