I saw some people discussing this on Twitter last week, and it made me think. Historically it would be hard to argue against Mcjester but there a lot of great GPP players in NBA. Who would get your vote?

best guys/groups in no particular order:
    -chipotleaddict/papagates
    -empiremaker2
    -me/makeitrain/aboveandbeyond
    -aejones/kunu88
    -makisupa

    honorable mention: youdacao, hoop/3rdandschlong.

if I didnt list someone, let’s just say I would be pretty comfortable sitting his games and thinking I could beat rake during the normal parts of the season (less edge now with all the injuries/rest and value every night), at least on DK. too easy to make close to the nuts on FD

I seem to always play you in h2h Daut44. I must be an easy target :(

What are the metrics used to determine “the best” gpp player? Is it seeing the names on the leaderboard or ROI? The former is easier to quantify and the latter is nearly impossible. Just asking.

    He is pretty good.

As a % , yes this is true.

Since we live in a world where dollars have utility… then it’s a pretty easy call to give up the ROI. if you’re actually capable of finding the top lineup within 25 to 200+ permutations, you’ll simply get paid faster.

We’ll never know who the “best” GPP player is in a true sense….but I have a feeling it’s probably one of the names already mentioned in this thread.

Yeah for sure, I think the best GPP player is basically going to be the person who nets the most $/day regardless of ROI. Judging from what I’ve seen in this ongoing season worth of high stakes NBA GPP’s pianoclub has got to have the highest net.

Did we settle this question? I conclude that on Fanduel McJester is up there in big field tournaments. In high stakes, however, I give the clear edge to MjClub.

From reading all these post it is clear that there are many names that come and go…in my personal opinion since I started playing about a year ago would have to say there are about 10 really great players that I would bet my money on…now if you got these 10 together and they played every slate and every sport for a week I would put my money on one Dfs player, and that one player would be…..MokLovin, hands down I believe the best all around player out there in both DK and FD…but just my opinion…

Thanks, but I remove myself from consideration until I win a live final. And even still, there’s so many more talented players that aren’t even named in this thread yet that I have a lot of respect for. Here are some of my nominees for now, but I’m sure I’ve forgotten some and I’ll think of more.

    Already mentioned DraftCheat.
CSURam88 deserves to be the first guy on the Mt. Rushmore of DFS.
    Wiggins should certainly be mentioned.
    Assani and AEJones are great.
The run that CJ went on this season was pretty sick.
MBomb44 could dominate GPP’s in any sport. <— Dark Horse to win the WFBBC
Saahil of course, even in a single entry tourney.
Hafner (RG tourney player of the year).

    You can consider yourself now.
