In honor of Gabey’s previous “inspirational” threads…

Since Yahoo is just beta testing their DFS product during MLB season, will they offer deposit bonuses to lure new customers to their NFL DFS product?

If so, how will they reward all of us “beta testers” for helping them improve their product since we will not be considered new customers? Should we get something in return?

If not, and if they don’t throw $$ advertising during NFL season to lure new customers, should they still be taken seriously as a competing DFS site?

They dont need to offer anything to attract users. It seems they already have the most unique users per day outside of FD and DK to me.

For season long. I don’t see it in their daily product.

Not yet. They have minimal functionality right now and only track wins and $.

Dont quite have that much faith in terms of Yahoo being a serious DFS entity right now.

  • MrFantasy

I wish they would. Unlikely however

    I don’t either.

Why should they offer a deposit bonus? Not like it won’t take 10 years for us to get it anyway. Still mad about canadian players …

Don’t new DFS sites usually offer this?

Possibly… Some stats based on their single entry free rolls, which includes bias towards non-paying customers:

    THU 7/9 – 5000
    TUE 7/21 – 7386
    WED 7/22 – 6438
    THU 7/23 – 5699
    FRI 7/24 – 6419
    SAT 7/25 – 5274
    SUN 7/26 – 3795
    TUE 7/28 – 8130

They might if they decide their opening to the NFL season is short of their expectations

They haven’t advertised at all and have 8k unique users in their tournaments. It will be interesting to see how many they get once they advertise.

    Yahoo Rep

Following up on a couple threads in the forums and wanted to make sure everyone is aware that we recently launched a deposit bonus feature. Please see all details in our help article – https://help.yahoo.com/kb/daily-fantasy/SLN26501.html?impressions=true

If you have questions or feedback about the product, feel free to message me

Do cashouts void the deposit bonus?

Off topic, but several of the starting pitchers on Yahoo tonight show as not starting. Joe Ross, Shoemaker, Nicolino, etc.
